I even had this scene in mind where Diana (or Astrid - but I do know for sure that Diana would detest Arianne lol) meets Cassandra when she's with Ari and they start insulting Arianne and Cassandra either joins in, or doesnt say anything, and Arianne would get really really upset (shes more of the crying type than the fighting type, honestly) because she expected Cassandra to support her.
And then later maybe when Diana and her pack of cards finally starts to fall down around Cassandra maybe she could try to go back to Ari and we'll see how it goes.

that does sound good. Cassandra is very loyal to her friends and it would be so hard for her to watch people make fun of her friend but she does want to fit in with the Slytherin girls. So she would probably try to get Diana to just leave and forget about Arianne.

But other than that it sounds great

Diana wouldnt, probably. She can hold her grudges. So Cassandra might have to choose between two different loyalties.
