The lack of rules was very nice, she had to admit. It also allowed for her odd skills to come in handy like for example she made all of the firewhiskey for the party that happened a few days ago in the study lounge. If she had been in any other house someone would have stopped her, instead Diana and other people were encouraging her to do it. She hoped her dad would be impressed by her abilities when she got to go home for christmas. Christmas was going to be good this year, she had a feeling about that.
Cassandra had romantice visions of her sneaking into the hufflepuff locker room and giving him a good luck kiss before he went out to play. However it would end up being a good luck kiss like a few days in advanced since she would not be able to see him every day. By see him every day she ment like see and talk to him. Of course she would see him everyday they had potions together but she could not go up and say hello. That would be a very bad life choice. "Well let me know and Iwill see if I can make it."
She said only because there was no garentee that she could make it to his games since she would be working around Slytherin events. However she might run up to the quidditch fields and catch a glimpse of him playing. Honestly she wondered how good he was since it was in his blood but she never saw him playing before. "oh please... I threw my textbook at one of my friends in a study group because she was just so stupid. She honestly believed that two very volitle substances would not explode when combined." She explained. It was totally true and she felt bad about it. She may of noticed the stars forming a heart but she was pretending like she saw nothing.

Kenny never really thought about the strange odds of drinks that older students are trying to sneak in and such being that he was told by his mother that Adult drinks are something he shouldn’t try at all at his age because it could be bad news. He did however thought about trying butterbeer that it really considered a drink for wizards though he was a bit perplexed by the name of the drink. He did also wonder how it might turn out if Cassandra was to pay him a visit during the Christmas break at Hogwarts as it might be somewhat of a surprise though he didn’t think she would tell her parents about him quite yet because of there different houses but yet he can dream at all.
Kenny imagined that Cassandra would be sneaking into the locker room before he leaves and catch him by surprise and giving him a kiss of good luck and he wondered if that can be allowed as it would be hard to see her every day in Hogwarts. The only time he would see her mostly would be in Potions class at the Slytherin areas. It would just be a problem to say hi with all the slytherins looking at him like he was something worth bad news to the houses. As he told her that he did not knew about when the next quidditch game is she told him to find out when he can as he spoke up. “I will do my very best It will be difficult with rival houses but I wont let it bother me one bit.” he said as he lightly stroked her hair playful like trying to keep her spirits up.
As Cassandra went on telling Kenny about her getting into some trouble in her classes he never really thought of her as a trouble maker as he laughed a bit. “Well now, its really something I never expect to know at all” he said as he was hoping she wasn’t feeling bad by his words at all. He kept looking at the stars that formed a heart shape and figured why was it still there as if it was a sign of things to come as he looked upon her wondering if she was in the mood to maybe get back into the kissing though he never think she would go for it again but then again anything is possible.

She was the secret Slytherin trouble maker. Most people in her house knew about the different things she did but no one every commented about them. They were probably doing worse if she could image. But that was ok since they were Slytherins and they were known as the house of troublemakers. Oddly the more she thought about it the more she thought of herself as a Slytherin and less like a Ravenclaw like her father. Her father never really cared about house status and frequently dated girls from other houses before marrying a muggle. Kind of odd and he always told her to date and not focus on house.
If things got serious she could see a secret wave to each other in the hallways or in potions class. A secret signal to meet later that night in thier secret spot. She felt like a spy just thinking about it. Time to invest in more black clothing she thought to herself and smiled. It was a silly thought but whatever. They needed to keep things a secret. "Good because I wont let it bother me either. We can have a secret meeting spot every night or something silly like that." She said and smiled as he played with her hair. It was getting long and she knew it was almost time for a cut. Maybe it worth 'trusting' one of her friends from Slytherin for advice.
She laughed and nodded. "yeah... so I just dont have the patience to be a teacher. Oh well its not for everyone." She commented. Then she watched him looking up at the heart. "So... anything else you want to talk about or did you just want to make out?" She asked bluntly. Talking was good but kissing on a first date was even better. However she did not care either way she just hoped that if he wanted to talk then he had a topic for them. Since she studied so much her topics of conversation were classes and school, which are very boring topics for a date.

While Kenny always was considered the good natured Hufflepuff, he wished about breaking a few rules but even If he did thought about it he would eventually have second thoughts because he always had the vision of his cruel muggle father and how he was abusive and mean to him and his mother back in America. The idea of even having lots of fun did in fact scared him quite a bit but since that he has been with Cassandra and on his first ever date it seemed that nothing bad happened at all as it was something new in his life. He didn’t think much about what ever became of his father all he knew is that he and his mother was gone from his life and that was all he can ever know.
Apparently Cassandra thought about them meeting secretly in spot that was only known between him and her only as he nodded in approval to the idea. “It does seem like a nice idea only what would be a good spot if there is one.” he asked hoping for a good idea being that they did met in the tower already as he wonder if she did had an idea for them to meet. He watched her smile as he briefly played with her hair as he can tell by her smile that she enjoyed it he thought her hair was pretty cute being long nice though he did like when she had it in a ponytail though only to keep it from getting in her way sometimes.
The two watched each other as he finished looking at the star shaped heart in the sky as she asked him a question if they want to keep talking or go ahead and get back to some kissing as he was trying to think of something to even talk about as he felt like he had nothing more to ask as it was all a blank though he wonder if she was in the mood to even kiss him as he slowly responded. “Well, honestly I’m not sure what to talk about now. I mean I feel like kissing if you do” he said hoping that she might be gracious and probably start it off like she did at the tower which was as lovely as ever.

She did not care if he was a rule breaker or not. It was just in her nature since she had so much freedom at home. Her mom left at eleven so she was not around in the 'I need disapline years' and her dad believed in freedom and making your own mistakes. Cassandra made plenty of mistakes and was learning like any normal teenager. However she thought she turned out alright even if she did cause some trouble.
She thought about where they could use. "The tower tends to have people in it at night doing homework. So probably not there anymore." She said. Then she had a decent idea. "If you are willing to sneak out... the kitchen is always a good place to meet at night. The house elves are nice." She explained. Often she could be found there at night with a cup of coffee. "We can also meet on the school grounds at some point. Those are generally very private." She suggested. They were good suggestions and now she waited for his opinions on her ideas. Actually she had asked Diana about places on campus where one go could to have an intimiate moment with someone. Diana gave a few suggestions under the impression that Cassandra was just curious for the future.
She moved closer and gave him a quick kiss. "nothing you want to know about me?" She asked and waited for him to respond before she would kiss him again. In a way she was curious about him and his past and she figured that he was curious about her. However it could wait since the kissing was romantic and the night was quite romantic. Again she kissed him and this time held it while making it more passionate. She had a feeling that he did not wish to go further but she did move closer to him just because she was feeling romantic and close to him.

((sorry for the wait dinner and other things)
Kenny can never believed that the girl he was with right now happened to be a troublemaker in her house. Honestly he thought of Cassandra as somewhat of a shy girl who was good in her grades being that she had a troubled past like he did. Somehow it seemed like despite both having bad pasts when they were young kids It’s like he is the good nature person and Cassandra is the fun troublemaking individual, but even though they are really different they are alike somehow as they really seem happy between each other.
He then listened on as Cassandra told him about where they can meet up secretly at the tower after he had a quidditch game with his team. Somehow this idea was probably his only time that he may feel like he is being somewhat of a troublemaker sneaking away from his team to hang with a slytherin. She told Kenny about the kitchen and how the elves can be nice as Kenny thought about it clearly as he figured maybe it would be a bit troublesome if they were to cause so much noise despite nice elves. She then told him about the school grounds as he thought about it and nodded again. “That’s really thoughtful, it really sounds so interesting for us to meet privately after quidditch it might be fun” he added as he looked at her with a smile.
Kenny was then met with a small kiss as he was asked by Cassandra if he wanted to know more about her as he was honestly at a lost for words to ask any more as it was hard to really come up with more stories for now as he really wanted this night to go on smoothly. In a quick instance Cassandra moved up closer to him and kissed him as it was a bit challenging with her by his side while they were sitting. He took in the kiss and slowly begin to wrap his arms around her in an embrace hoping that they wouldn’t fall to the side like they were laying which may seem like something she might not want as they kissed away.

(its ok. I totally understand)
She figured out why they had such a base connection. It was because of their pasts. Both came from single parents, basically, and both were halfbloods. Based on those experiences they had a fundatmental connection. She could feel that connection and she felt so close to him. He was the first person to know her secret about being a halfblood and he accepted her. It made her feel like she could tell people and it would be ok. Ok maybe not the Slytherins since they would not be ok with it but other people could know as long as they did not spread it around as rumors. The more she thought about it the more she decided it probably wasnt best to tell people.
"Well we can meet on the lawns whenever we want. There are these little private spots all around the castle where we can meet and not be seen. So realistically we could meet in the middle of the afternoon." She explained. There was one corner of the castle that she was thinking of specifically. It was on the far side that faced the forest. Most people did not venture out there since it was a bit of a hike. However she was alright with that, it ment more time with him since they would have to walk there and back.
Since he never asked her any other questions she just kept kissing him and felt his arms around her. She twisted her body more so that she was facing him to make the kissing easier. However if they laid down on the grass then things could go too far so she remained sitting up. She had no idea of what to do with her hands so she used one of them to balance on the ground and the other she put on his arm. Cassandra did not know what else do to beside kiss him. She wondered where the rest of the night would take them. All she knew was that there was a cup of coffee in the kitchen with her name on it afterwards.

When Kenny first came to Hogwarts he felt that he was the only one different than the other students being that he was a half blood wizard from a wizard parent and muggle parent. It wasn’t till this year that he discovered he wasn’t the only one after meeting Cassandra that night at the tower. How can someone so troublemaker like can share the same shy attitude and sad past like him is very strange to him. Now that he was hanging out with her it seemed like nothing had to matter as he felt like maybe it should be best to try and mingle with people than just stay coop up in the common rooms forever.
“The lawns? Well now that’s also a sweet idea as well” he said as he was really getting impressed by the ideas of how he and Cassandra should have there private celebrations after quidditch. She then told him about meeting in the middle of the afternoon as well as it also didn’t bother him at all being that he never keep a track of time when he was always staying in the common room looking bored and lonely all the time. He did felt a bit of eagerness about the private meetings and yet he decided to keep it to himself for now as he felt like he and Cassandra should keep the meetings a secret.
While they were kissing so passionately he noticed that Cassandra twisted her body around to be seeing him which he seemed to like so much. He didn’t want to go so far as to laying on the ground on the first date as he thinks this should go quite and nicely easy for the time being. As they kept kissing he did wonder what will happen next as they have already had dinner at the Broomsticks and looked at stars and talked so much about what they want to do. His embrace to her as always was nice as he also did what he can to keep her balance nice as well though he noticed one of her hands were on the ground to be like a balance as he relaxed in the moment for now.

She rememered not really careing about her blood status until the sorting ceremony. The moment after the hat placed her in Slytherin she knew that her life was going to be tough and she knew that her blood status would be a secret that she would keep until her grave. Everyone in Slytherin was a pureblood, except for her. Although she had a feeling there was one or two others that, like her, were keeping thier blood status a secret. At least with Kenny being in Hufflepuff they were accepting of people and tolerant. If she was correct that was one of their values, she knew the basics of each house because they were taught that in magical history class.
"yeah it should be good." She said. Maybe another time she would ask him to join her in the kitchen at night when she felt like he was comfortable with her. No one in the Slytherin house kept track of anyone else, unless they were meeting up for some private matters, so she knew that she could leave whenever she wanted and come back. No one would question her about where she had been... ok well maybe a prefect but she could say 'out' and they would accept that as an answer.
She knew not to push the issue of going futher since it should not happen now. It would probably never happen while at Hogwarts since she did not want to get caught and deal with the consequences of school and her social life. It was a bad thought but she wondered how her Slytherin friends would actually react to her dating a hufflepuff. It obviously was not going to help her social status, which was fine since she genuinly liked him. She kept kissing him and waited to see when he wanted to stop.

Truth be told when Kenny first came to Hogwarts he was afraid of being different being halfblood. The fellow students that he knew at Hufflepuff turned out to be all pureblood and that made Kenny felt like a misfit of the house team. He didn’t want to tell the other Hufflepuff students that he was a half blood after hearing things like being picked on or being ignored by his fellow students which was something he did not want to endure after being teased before when he moved to England. He was even afraid to find or ask anyone in his house that were half blood honestly but truth be told Hufflpuff seemed like they were nice and caring to him no matter if your pure or half blood.
“Well I will be looking forward to it, also I’ll try my best not to get injured so that I don’t look mess up if we were to have another date.” he said as he felt a bit nervous after saying that. Being a quidditch player had it’s fun times, but even quidditch players had to endure some bad bumps on the way and Kenny was no exception. Last year he was on the team he nearly damaged his arm and leg while in some quidditch matches as a result from some nasty bludgers which were fast and tough to dodge sometimes. He never really knew if she was into guys with scars or bruises honestly and if he was hurt he’d probably scare her away which can be disastrous to say the least. He did hope that maybe this year he won’t get injured too much or even seriously to be off the team if they are doing really good honestly.
As they continue to kiss away Kenny kept his embrace around Cassandra as close as the breeze was starting to become a bit fast so that he can at least make her warm and cozy. She told him that he was a wonderful kisser before and honestly he can assure that Cassandra happened to be an amazing kisser as he pulled back and softly kissed her cheek and begin to speak. “Well, your really a great kisser as well Cassandra” he said with a small laugh as he then pressed his lips back to her kissing her more romantic like.

He was the first person that she told, other than one of the professors. The only reason she told a professor was because her mom had sent her the letter and she was so freaked out. She sat in the hallway and was crying. The professor stopped and spoke to her for a bit and then they had tea before she went back to her dorm room for the night. That letter resulted in her staying in her room for a few days to just try and get herself relaxed and over it. When people asked where she was or why was she in her room Cassandra just told them it was the flu. Unlike other she never really spoke about her family.
"battle wounds can be good. Plus they get you the sympathy from the professors and the other students." She explained. It was true... she watched all of the girls flock to the injured Quidditch players. It was almost funny to her when she watched because they were so concerned when the day before they did not give that guy the time of day. Cassandra was not the motherly type when it came to injures so she could probably care less, just get up and keep going. Well at least get fixed up and then keep going. It was a little cruel but it proved there was some Slytherin blood in her.
It was starting to get cold for her but she was lucky that she had him close by to help her stay warm. Then he told ehr that she was a good kisser. "Thanks." She managed to say before he kissed her again. She slowly pulled back from the kiss again. "Can we head back to the castle? As much as I dont want this to end but it is getting cold outside." She explained. Her sweater was starting to fail against the wind and she knew the castle would be warm.

The only one that knew about him being a halfblood before Cassandra was of course his Mother. It seemed that to keep people from knowing that he was a half blood seemed like something he should do at first. He figured if he told someone like a professor or other students it would probably be bad news being he was too nervous to ask what would happen to him if he said he was a half blood in front of them. It may be one of the factors as to why Kenny remained cooped up in the common rooms away from anyone else when classes is over because he was afraid of being bullied or teased about being a halfblood.
Kenny felt grateful that Cassandra told him about battle wounds being really good to girls in Hogwarts as he never really thought of that at all. However, he would just be too nervous to show girls his bruised legs and arms from the bludger attacks which he had learned so much to dodge yet no one is safe from the impact of the bludgers. He did noticed by her tone that Cassandra might not care so much for injuries as he felt like it would be bad to ask if he would see his wound if he was to get hurt at Quidditch so it was best to leave that question alone.
He really seem to like how Cassandra liked being called a good kisser which she was to be honest though he did like being called a good kisser as well. Kenny really did a good job in keeping her warm as well from the breeze as he enjoyed kissing her so lovely. Suddenly Cassandra pulled Kenny back as she wanted to ask if he can take her back to the castle as it was getting real cold and it was better to leave for now before it gets worst. Kenny helped her up like the gentleman he was as he figured that maybe he can walk with her with his arm around her shoulder maybe. “Ok then lets go back then, I had really nice time with you Cassandra. Thank you for this wonderful first date” he said with a smile on his face.

That professor was very kind to her afterwards even though he was a pureblood. She knew that the professor had been there for the most difficult thing in her life so far and she thanked him by working hard in that class and making sure that he saw all of her potiential even though she was a half blood. Actually Cassandra worked so hard in all of her classes to make it appear that she had the natural gifts of a pureblood. As a result she got good marks and knew that the OWLS would be on the easier side for her.
It wasnt that she would not look at his injured or help him but she was not going to run over to him and did that stupid baby talk while asking how it happened. She thought they girls looked stupid and then they hung all over the poor guy as he tried to get through the halls. But she hoped that Kenny would be fine so she would not have to deal with it since it would be a wierd situation. The question would become to visit him in the hosptial wing or not. But she pushed that idea from her head as well since they were no where near that serious yet.
She thanked him after he helped her up and she moved closer so he could walk with his arm around her shoulders. Honestly she would have stayed out there for like 7 more hours if it was warm out but she was a small girl so she was cold. Her fingertips where cold so she put her hands back into her jean pockets as they began to slowly walk back to the castle. The walk would be enjoyable at least and it was kind of a long walk so they had plenty of time to talk if he thought of something he wanted to ask her.

Knowing that he had to eventually go on about his halfblood lifestyle Kenny was told by his mother that he should let at least his professors know so that if he was to be bullied it would be a way for if one of the professors can inform whomever may be bullying Kenny to stop immediately. He was nervous about it but he did tell his professors when he did get a chance before or after class was over to let them know. After he did that he decided not to focus on how he would be judged for being half blood and focused more on his studies.
He knew the best thing was that he should at least do his best to keep safe from getting injured too much as if he was to end up in the hospital it may be awkward if Cassandra suddenly showed up to check on her and that hufflepuff students were still there to see him which could be troublesome. Kenny did knew that he and Cassandra were not seriously in love yet as they barely knew each other but he would know that she did hope that he stay safe in flying which honestly his first time was nothing more than full of nerves for him.
As they two walked back he saw her moving close to him as he felt like he was somewhat of a warm cover for the cold air as they made the travel back to the castle on time. He had a real nice time on his first date and his first trip to Hogsmeade as they managed to make it to the castle entrance. He then looked at her and begin to speak up to her. “Cassandra thank you for this night, so um will we ever do something nice like this again?” he asked hoping that maybe they will probably have another romantic night again even though the two were not really in love quite yet.

She never felt bullied about her blood status. Well she always kept her blood status a secret but she knew that soon she would have to tell someone in her house. It was probably smart to not tell Diana and maybe tell one of her friends that she knew would care a lot less. Astrid or Jackson might be a good option. Someone in her house needed to know so she felt more comfortable in her house. She felt apart of her house for the most part but her blood status was the last thing keeping her from fully embracing it.
Secretly she hated hospitals since they tended to bring depressing news and stuff like that. Plus they smelt bad... like disenfectant. Plus she never knew what to say, like do you say that you are sorry or that you hope they dont die. Obviously a quidditch injury was never really life threatening. Once her bother got kicked in the head by a kid on the swing set and he cried like it was life threatening. The more she thought like this the creuler she thought she was. She took a deep breath and tried to feel some compassion.
As they walked she smiled and nodded. "Sure we can do this again." She said. She hoped that they did it soon actually. "you know... tomorrow promises to be a good day in the afternoon if you want to meet on the lawns?" She suggested. If he had nothing to do then she did not need to study since her homework was already done. "late afternoon... say about 4pm?" She suggested as well. If he said yes then he would bring tea since that time was tea time. In her dorm room she had a good stash of tea and coffee. Plus she assumed that since he had moved to england he was used to afternoon tea. It was one of her favorite times since when she was home her dad made the best tea for her and her grandmother, but when her grandmother was not home then she never got tea unless she did it herself.
