Rose, 22, bar manager.

Rose is, in many ways, a pacific rebel. She is very intelligent and she has the potential to do lots of great things, but she refuses to live a life of being enslaved by hard work. As a student she would get the minimum passing grades but without even going to class that often, which is why when things got hard at work she suffered a breakdown. She is now taking a year off to try to find the balance between the more friendly, outgoing, fun-loving, lazy version of herself, and what lies beneath: a tortured soul that never got over the death of her mother, incapable to commit to anything or anyone, who tortures herself whenever she's incapable of doing anything. She desperately needs to find a balance between brains and passion, success and freedom.
Everybody's Playing The Game,
But Nobody's Rules Are The Same
ACQUAINTANCES:
Rose's profession allows her to interact with people daily, and she generally has a great disposition to starting a conversation. She likes to observe people, the things they reveal about themselves without realizing. She overhears a lot of conversations and she will usually see if there's something she might do for people, like giving advice, a free drink, or helping kids with their homework.
Adults will find complicity in her, and an easy smile. Kids will find a comprehensive grown-up who can help them when they need her... while having a nice, warm drink.
Never Be The First To Believe, or The Last to Decieve
FRIENDS:
Rose doesn't have that many friends (yet). She's new at Hogsmeade so she is trying to get to know people both at Hogwarts and at the village. As this is a fresh new start for her, she keeps an open attitude towards befriending new people, but close friendships would be hard for her to accept.[/blockquote]
Just as she can hold grudges, when someone manages to make her trust them she is loyal and would do anything for those she cares about.
It wouldn't necessarily have to be adults. She's the type of character that fifth years and up would find complicity with, and someone who kids would go to for support. The "grown-up friend" teenagers sometimes have. Plus, she's only 22.
Never Let A Friend Fool You Twice
STAY AWAY FROM...
It's not really in Rose's nature to hate, which is why she doesn't have what you can call enemies. She is not an aggressive person. What she is, however, is capable of holding grudges. Hurt her once, really hurt her, and you can forget about her. She will also be cautious about people she considers to be "bad", which is those who generally treat others like she wouldn't have them treat her.
She avoids these people and treats them as coldly as she can. There may even be one or two people with access denied to The Three Broomsticks. When she argues, it involves a smiley face and really sarcastic, really hurtful remarks. But she is not one to yell or openly fight in any way: losing her temper would mean, to her, losing the argument.
No Lover's Ever Faithful, No Contract Truly Signed
LOVE?
Rose has never been in love, as she is terribly afraid of getting hurt. She thinks loving someone gives them power over you, and she can't trust anyone with that power. Although she is flirty and dates occasionally, she will keep these relationships superficial, never disclosing much about herself. It would take a very understanding, patient man to get her to open up, particularly as when she feels somebody is getting too close she becomes unpredictable and impulsive. Still, finding love this year would probably help her find the answers she needs and be able to come to terms with herself.

This was my first -and hopefully last- template. You can tell, huh?
Lyrics are from "Nobody's Side" from the musical "Chess".
I don't own any of the icons, but I have permission to use them all.
Looking forward to RPing with you.
