Alright guys so this is our first site wide event! What better way to end the summer and start the school year than with a bonfire? Well, since this is Hogwarts and everything is 10x better, we're going to have a gigantic bonfire.
There will be a subboard created in the Outskirts board shortly entitled "Bonfire." The bonfire will be located in a central area between The Lake (where we will have swimming competitions), The Forbidden Forest (where we will tell scary stories), and The Lawns (where you guys will camp out). It will take place OOC for about 5-7 days to give you enough time to finish and plot and RP and stuff when IC it really is only one night. Keep in mind you are only posting in the Bonfire subboard with event related posts.
Within the Bonfire subboard there will be swimming competitions, scary story telling, and marshmellow roasting. At the end of the bonfire there will be a firework display on The Lawns before bed and maybe another possible surprise as well? We'll see haha. Further instructions on these games and activities will be given in the threads but they are all in character so keep that in mind.
Because this is an event and we want all to participate. We are going to drop the word count to only 200 words STRICTLY for this event. Please if you can help it, do not try and post less than 300, however like I said we will not penalize you for going below 300 words in the bonfire board only.
