GENERAL RULES
1:: RESPECT. Be nice. I don't want any OCC harassment, bullying, insulting, ect. Everyone is open to their own opinion. Be grown-up on here. We're all here to have fun and enjoy ourselves. If you have a problem with someone, take it to PMs.
2:: REGISTERING. When registering, please register as the FIRST and LAST name of your character. No screen names, nicknames, and so on.
3:: PLAY BYS. Play-bys must be real life people, not drawings or computer generated. Anime PB"s are not allowed either, sorry. Once your character is accepted, please post in the face claim to make sure no one else can take your play-by. I'm not going to be hard about using people from Deviantart, emo kids, goth kids, ect. because there are people like that in the real world. Before registering your character, please make sure the PB you want is not already taken to avoid any mess.
3.5:: APPLICATIONS. You MUST wait three days after being accepted and have at least 5 in character RP posts with all of your other characters to begin working on your next character. We want to make sure that you're here to stay and that you can handle your first one before you get wrapped and tied in with another. You get three chances to fix and spruce up your application. Which means that we'll look at it three times and tell you what we think and let you fix it before we don't accept you. Just think everything through and read the accepted applications and it won't happen!
4:: SIGNATURES. Signatures must not exceed 275 in height and 500 in length, and avatars can not be larger than 100 in height and 100 in length. if your images exceed this limit, you will be asked to change it. As well, keep all signatures appropriate in what you use. No topless/naked women, and men can not be naked below the waist.
5:: YOU MUST BE THIRTEEN TO REGISTER! If you are below thirteen years of age, sorry, you cannot join. This is not our rule, but rather, this is the rule of proboards and part of the “Terms of Service.” If you are under thirteen, we, the administration and site in total, can get into some severe trouble. Please abide by this rule!
6:: NO OOC POSTING IN IC POSTS Sure, if you have to go and want to let someone know you are leaving, tell them SHORTLY in the post by saying at the beginning or the end, "OOC.....". There is an OOC board for you to use to talk OOC. If there is a MUST for posting OOC in IC topics, you must make it noticeable that it is OOC. Ways of doing this are brackets, double parenthesis, or other ways that make it obvious.
7:: DO NOT STEAL THE SITE WORK! The work on this site is copyright to the members, being that their work is their work and not yours. If you wish to possibly use something on the site, please ask for administration permission and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
8:: HAVE FUN! This is the most important thing. Please make sure that you have fun and enjoy yourself. There are rules for a reason, but we want you to have plenty of fun so that we can have a nice enjoyable RP environment.
IN-CHARACTER RULES
1:: The minimum requirement for posts is 300 words AT THE ABSOLUTELY MINIMUM. That's an easy three or four paragraphs, so I hope to see everyone able to make that. I understand that muse is evil sometimes, but everyone is only allowed two warnings before further consequences. The only time this rule is reduced to 250 words as a minimum is in classes. This is only to bump up attendance and because classes are sometimes hard to RP in. However, if you go 300 it is much[/u] preferred so please do so if you can.
2:: All posts must be in third person. Such as: he walked down the street and sighed. Not: I walked down the street and sighed. I don't care if your character bio's are in first person, but all posts must be in third.
3:: No Godmodding or Powerplaying. If in a fight scene, you may not control another character besides your own. There are powerful characters, yes, but there are no gods.
4:: Cussing....I don't want the f-bomb every other word.
5:: Please strive to use proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation. The cleaner and better your post is the more fun and easy it is on the replier.
6:: If you do not have a specific format for your RP posts then it is suggested that you, at minimum, post 2 icons at the top of your posts. It makes it nice and neat and is much appreciated. Any questions about this should be directed to Head of Administration The codeword is: lavaishot
7:: We expect that you make at least two in character RP posts per month (per member, not per character). This means two posts in the RP boards as your character. It does not mean IC games. This is to keep the site active and ensure all members keep up with their threads. We understand that muses are not always cooperative and we may give exceptions under certain circumstances if they are brought to our attention either through the absences board or a PM to an admin account.
(You understand all this? These can change at any time and when it does you are expected to follow the new and/or improved rules.)
