Dear Diary,
Just started school again. Fifth year, can you believe it? Crazy right? O.W.L's are looming and I'm determined to get top grades. And of course, I plan to hang out with James as often as I can. Helps that we belong in the same house and have mostly all the same classes. You know how I told you over the summer that he stayed with me? Well, his parents are still being butts. But we are each others' family, and that's that.
It's strange to be back. I've been receiving all these looks from the Slytherin guys because of my whole deal with Marcus last year. But I try to just ignore them. I'm not that girl I was with Marcus. I knew there would be gossip and judgement. Everyone knows that Marcus and I are no longer together. Though people don't know about the pregnancy and what not. I only have told James everything there is to know. People just assume that because Marcus is no longer in Hogwarts, we couldn't make it work. That assumption is just fine with me. But I still hear the whispers from Slytherin house just the same.
But I'm determined to make this be an awesome year. I really am. Whispers or whatever, can't stop me. O.W.L year, here I come.
