DETAILED: If you were to just stumble into Riley, the first words you would think of are quirky and eccentric, right down to the way she looks, talks, and walks. Her signature facial expression is a grin, and her eyes are always alight with something or another. She has hair that's long and straight, curving in, an odd mixture of orange and red that shines in the light. Her very soft, doe-in-the-headlights eyes are green-gray, with hints of copper, but can sometimes appear an almost raining blue color when she's sad, and a more stunning, stormy gray when she's angry.
Her cheeks are ever-rosy, perhaps because she's always smiling and laughing, and her lips are small and a pretty pink color. Her whole structure is very pretty and delicate-looking, yet somehow strong, with long legs. Her skin is a beautiful ivory color, giving contrast to everything else; hair, eyes, cheeks and lips, and never sunburns or tans. She walks in a gliding, dancing manner, that appears both graceful and odd at the same time. Her facial features are soft, yet defined, and she's pretty, and attracts attention from her odd looks, but she's definitely just pretty, nothing really more for her looks.
She tends to dress in wizard clothes, because she doesn't want to remember her past, but when she does, she likes to wear bright, floral dresses, with long sleeves and leggings underneath in the winter. She's stylish, and has a girly way of dressing, with lots of nature patterns and prints. Her favorite shoes are her flats, and she often clips back her bangs with a studded butterfly clip.
While dressed in wizard clothes, she stick with plain black robes, but has a blue cloak she adores, as well as another in her house color she wears while at school.

PERSONALITY
Friends- Riley is a naturally friendly person, and enjoys having friends, whether extremely close, or just 'small talk' friends.
Animals- Riley absolutely adores animals of all kinds. She has a cat named Midnight.
Other Species- Other species have always fascinated Riley, and she likes talking to house elfs and any other kind of creature she can find, whether they can speak back or not.
Adventure- Riley loves a good adventure, she often compares her life to a book, and think it always need's a main plot.
Hogwarts- Hogwarts is Riley's favorite place to be. She's glad to have a place to escape too.
Flowers/Plants- Riley has a fondness for all living things, and that includes plants. She loves beautiful things, so flowers are probably her favorites.
Outdoors- Riley is a very outdoorsy person, she likes being somewhere wide and open.
Quidditch- Riley is a quidditch lover, and fancies herself being a seeker. She's good on a broom, but her klutziness sometimes gets the better of her, so she'd actually probably make a better chaser.
Warm Weather- As a girl who loves the outdoors, she loves warm weather, late spring, early summer, being her favorite seasons.
Tidiness- Despite her hectic, random personality, Riley hates being dirty, and things being dirty. She doesn't mind some chaos, she just believes even chaos has some order.
Talking- Her favorite thing to do. She's always talking, to plants, animals, herself, or to others. Talk, talk, talk.
DISLIKES:
Liars- If your going to lie to Riley, you better not let her figure it out. She hates liars, and anyone untruthful. Even little white lies she hates. That's why she's so brutally honest at times.
Snow/Winter- She doesn't like cold things. She wants to be able to go outside and have the warm sun hit her skin, not a frozen snowflake.
Foster homes- Growing up as a foster child, she's been seriously misunderstood, and learned to hate foster homes.
Her Past- Hates it. Wish she never had to talk about her past, her family, but the questions naturally arise.
Quiet People- She can't help it. She just doesn't like them.
People who ignore her/say she's stupid- She's not. She just has different views on things, and different ways of expressing them. She's intelligent.
Being yelled at- She's always hated it, even if it isn't even yelling. Perhaps because of her verbally abusive father, perhaps she just doesn't like it, but either way... she does.
Muggle Clothes- Yes, she grew up in them, but she's fully ready to forget about her awful time as a 'muggle' and can't wait to be of age.
Attention Stealers- She doesn't like people who think the attention has to be on them all the time, or think their better then everyone else. She has strong feelings about everyone being equal.
Divination- Despite her dreamy, and in another world appearance and acts, she hates divination. She thinks it makes no sense.

DETAILED: Riley is a very quirky person, just everything about her screams it. Too her odd manner of speaking, to the way she holds herself, to the odd, distant glaze she can get in her ever-thoughtful eyes. She's a klutz, but will be the first to laugh when she falls on her face, and the first to help you up if you do. She loves animals and refers to them as actually people, and believes everyone is equal. She's a caring person, and very bubbly and talkative albeit a bit... slow at times.
She can sometimes appear to be off in her own world, and miss any lengths of conversation or other important things. She can be very ignorant, and isn't a great learner, simple because she tends to loose attention, and always wants to keep moving. She probably has a mild case of ADD, it's that bad. She even can have a temper when someone threatens her friends. Threaten her, she won't really mind, but don't mess with her friends, human or animal. She has mood swings, but tends to stay on the happy side.
She can be very courageous, and doesn't seem to be afraid of anything, this may be in part of her ignorance. Either way, she is, especially when her temper is spiked.
However, despite this, she can be a very sweet person, and talking to her just wants to make you smile. She's a good listener, once you capture her attention. Despite her tendency to overlook things, she can sometimes notice details no one else does. She hates liars, and this is brutally honest to everyone. Ask her her opinion, make sure you really want it. She just wants to have fun, and can satisfy herself with being alone, or with friends (although she prefers the latter.)
Despite her tendency to loose attention, she's actually very smart, as she picks things up while reading, which she never does sitting down. She likes to read aloud, while walking around.

DETAILED: Riley has had a very hard life. Her parent's divorced after her younger sister was born, when Riley was only two. It was a bad divorce, their mother didn't want to be divorced at all. After that messy bit was over, they lived with their mother, as their father didn't want them, and when she died of cancer when Riley was only 11, both sisters were heartbroken. They went to their father then, who declared he didn't want them, and put them in foster care after three months of living with him, in which he became verbally abusive to both. While in foster care, one of the first things to happen was that Hannah was adopted. Riley wasn't. After a year she got her letter to Hogwarts, and she was glad to be able to escape foster care, where she was labeled as a freak because of the way she acted, and the odd things that always happened to her, due to her magic. She doesn't really have many friends out of Hogwarts, but she doesn't really mind any more. She's fairly over her past, or at least like pretending she is.
When Riley was in Foster Care, she didn't really get close to anyone, because they all seemed to dislike her, because she was different. She was pleasantly surprised when she got her letter and when someone came and told her about magic, because she realized she wasn't a freak. She was just with the wrong people. While at Hogwarts, Riley has become an optimistic person, never looking back on her past, and that's the way she likes it. She hates talking about family, or home, and will do anything to steer the conversation away from it if someone happens to bring it up.
She hasn't seen Hannah, or her father in years, and Hannah is still a muggle. Riley isn't even sure if she wants to see her sister. She doesn't want to drag up her old demons when everything's going so much better for her.

RP SAMPLE: Eve walked down the cold streets, and her warm breath clouded up the bitter air in front of her. Her old converse peeked out of her jeans, and made a dull tapping noise against the pavement. She stared at the ground, and heard a noise ahead of her. She looked up to see a group of people, a group of friends, all girls, brush out of a coffee shop in front of her. She didn't notice the curly haired boy that made her heart flutter step out in front of them.
She shoved her red, almost frost bitten hands into her jacket, and felt her first pay check, a white envelope holding money. So much for an actual check. She continued walking, and kept her head down. She looked up as she heard the girl's voices fade away, and saw a building up ahead. She peeked in the window and spotted what she had hoped to see. She pushed open the door.
Eve walked up to a coin machine, and quickly slid in a five, grabbing the quarters. Then, she set off, in search of her favorite machine, and quickly took off her jacket as she looked. It was hot in the Arcade.
She found her machine, and waited silently as a boy played it. He was horrible. Soon, he glanced up, and seeing her waiting, he scurried off. She grinned quietly to herself, the Arcade already bringing out her outgoing side.
She slid in the quarters to the Pac-man machine, and set down her jacket, proudly flaunting her favorite Pac-man tee. After playing for a while, and finally losing the game after gaining some solid points, she glanced up to look around, slipping more quarters in. The old machine began to hum again, and she smiled. Suddenly, she noticed who was playing some game or another next to her. Marcus.
She quickly started the game, the first round being easy, she spoke to him and spoke, "Hey Marcus" She smiled as she played, still glaring at the game. The Arcade really did bring out her social side, and her social side brought out her natural beauty. She wasn't the prettiest girl, but seeing her eye's alight as she played, you couldn't help but think she was confident and beautiful.
