This is my girl Kadie. She can be tough to get to know. But she's lovable with her friends. She's a Gryffindor baby and proud of it. She's also muggle-born, but give her crap for that and she just might have to give you crap. She's tough, loyal, protective, etc. And she needs all kinds of people to interact with. So sext her up mkay?
Friends:she has a hard time trusting people, but once she does, she would do anything for that person. She loves her friends because they're more like her family then her own parents are. I imagine she'll have a guy best friend and a girl best friend and then close friends, and good friends etc. Then party friends and stuffs.
Enemies:The girl has got a mouth on her, so I imagine she's got plenty of these. Especially considering she's extremely honest, almost too much so and way blunt to boot. So yeah, she'll have these for sure.
Lovers: Well, the first time Kadie thought she fell in love, she got screwed for it. And her parents don't have a happy marriage so she's very cynical when it comes to love and quite stand-offish when it comes to men. So it'll take that special guy to get her to take down her walls for him. But yeah, I'm all ears for any ideas.

So James is a fifth year Gryff and muggleborn so I'm thinking these guys got to know eachother pretty quick in first year and have been close ever since. Which means James probably knows about Kadie's relationship history (or not? Would she tell him?). James is somewhat spontaneous and likes to do fun and stupid things to keep himself entertained. He also has a rediculously short attention span so it would definitely be a good thing that Kadie is blunt and to the point because James would definitely need telling off now and then and can't listen to long lectures!
I'm thinking there's opportunity for James to be secretly in love or have a crush on Kadie but think we can work on that as we go to see if it would work or not with their friendship.
Anyway, rambling! ^-^ Fun fun!

haha. I can already tell Ima love these two. I was thinking along the same lines actually. They both have muggle parents and all that. And both are into quidditch. So they've got similarities. But they are also opposites in many ways. I can actually see Kadie seeing James as her best friend and they could be partners in crime and do crazy things together. Plus, I think Kadie needs a best friend who
would be kind of different from her too, like James is, because he could get her to be more social and drag her to social things xD. And her crazy side would def come out with him when it doesn't with anybody else. And I can totally see her telling him off and trying to get him to be serious at times too! aha. And she would open up to him about stuff that she wouldn't to anybody else. So yeah, James would probably be the only one she would tell about her whole relationship thing. Maybe James knew that Marcus was a bad guy from the very beginning and tried to tell her, but she wouldn't listen?
haha, I love the whole crush/love idea. It could definitely make things interesting especially if they're best friends. Kadie could develop feelings for him, and be like, but he's my best friend! Shoot. What if my feelings for him ruin that? So she'd probably try to hide it or whatever. aha. And he could be the same way or whatever. lmao. However we decide to go with this, I think it could be fun .

I'm seeing that James distruted Marcus from the beginning - probably because no one is good enough for his best friend!
If we go with the trust idea then the distrust of Marcus boiled into hatred as James realised he was falling for her. But he wouldn't act on it because Kadie was happy with Marcus and now she's distrusting most boys to get over Marcus and James wouldn't want to push her or their friendship because he values both too much.

YAY EXCITED MUUUCH!
James probably would have stayed on her sofa a couple of times over the summer (if that's ok with her and her rents? and if not, he definitely would have been to see her a couple of times what with the Marcus situation) so not too much catching up to do after summer but who doesn't love a good chin wag?!

I feel the bonfire might just be the perfect place to begin? XD
