DETAILED: Described mainly as homely there is nothing extraordinary about Ciro's looks that set him apart from his peers. He stands roughly five foot ten inches tall which is considered average by human standards. His hair is a darker brown but is extra thin due to both age and stress from his previous job as a wand maker. He is also noted as being partially bald and slightly wrinkled on the forehead. His build is also average as Ciro is neither fat, skinny, muscular, or athletic. Though he is more slender than anything this factor is contributed to many years of work in a dark wand shop.
Despite a receding hairline, and some wrinkles on the forehead Ciro has been told that he ages very well. With little facial hair the most noticeable feature about Ciro's face is several small scars that can only be detected when up close. These scars have been the result of several backfiring wands during his wandlore career.
Set aside of certain physical distinctions there are two features about Ciro that really set him apart from all his peers. First his scowl look. Very rarely does Ciro smile, as a result of this there are several frown lines just underneath his mouth however not noticeable at a first glance. His eyes are also a big contributor towards his appearance as they have been describes as beady and piercing. On most occasions he stares rather judgmentally at most of his peers and all of his students as he is very judgmental.
The other most notable factor that Ciro has is his dress. Very rarely will you find Ciro dressed down out of his school robes or his usual suit and tie. He believes appearance is everything and makes a great first impression. He also believes that dress is formally associated with professionalism and he expects his students to have the same reflection in life as he does.

DEMENTOR: Ciro's worst memory is when he was a child he fell into a dark well and his parent's didn't find him until three days later.
DETAILED: Overall most view Ciro as freakishly intelligent and rather annoying. His know-it-all attitude has made him little friends outside the academic and political world thus creating the socially awkward person he is today. Though he yearns for companionship outside of the professional world he cannot seem to find it. Perhaps it's his menacing ways as he always interferes where he is not needed. Or maybe even it's his obsessive views on how conservativeness is the solution to all the wizard world problems.
Ciro; a very skilled wand maker has many talents, including teaching. But his self centered attitude and obsessive compulsive ways seem to prevent many great opportunities that he longs for... including becoming Minister For Magic. But despite his outwardly charm he does have a dark side. Ciro appears to be charming, well mannered and polite, but that façade can be easily broken, revealing him to be manipulative and almost machiavellian. He occasionally speaks in an ancient Italian language, denoting his origins. He also often speaks in this language when upset or angry. He believes humans have squandered the Earth and believes in protecting the environment of muggles though he does not believe in using force against them. He is also noted as having a very morbid sense of humor which appears to be quite dry at times. When teaching and explaining things he has a very direct, and blunt approach at many things. He's also noted at being sweet yet highly lethal with his charm. He can also be very cold and uncaring when dealing with people and seems apathetic to other's concerns, particularly when it comes to the Ministy's wishes and concerns.
It is because of these things that people often speak rumors of him being a practicer of the dark arts, but he strongly denies this fact. Ciro states, " I only have a great respect and admiration for the dark arts. For without them we would not know the joys in which our world truly possess and can bring forward without them." He further states that," as a wand maker it is his duty to be familiar with every single aspect a wand can produce.... and dark magic is no exception from that principal.
In conclusion, Ciro exhibits all the characteristics of your typical genius wizard. He's self centered, arrogant, and takes great pride in putting his nose in places where it doesn't belong. But despite these flaws he is a magnificent teacher and wandlore master which makes him a great asset to the wizarding world. [/ul]

DETAILED: Growing up in the Carrado family was both thrilling and challenging. Ciro's parents were very well educated and highly established archeologists in the muggle world. When they weren't traveling and doing work for the muggles most of their time was spent at home doing consulting work for the Ministry of Magic.(Ancient Ruins)
From a very young age Ciro was immersed in both magical and muggle studies. His parents expressed the importance of a strong education; especially inside of the magical world. Because of his parent's careers he was also constantly immersed with great history and culture.
Though there were always other children his age around him; both magical and muggle, Ciro spent most of his free time with his head in a book or schmoozing with his parents. He found that he really enjoyed this lifestyle and preferred it over playing with the other children.
At the age of eight Ciro began to express an interest in wandlore; a deep magical study that most could not comprehend. His interest soon turned into infatuation, and then into desire. The more he read on this subject the more he fell in love with the subject. Reading one day he found one of the most renowned wand makers in the history of the world lived only a few hundred miles from where his parents were currently stationed. Immediately he began to beg his parents to take him to visit this warlock but they refused stating that their work was far too important to abandon for such a far fetched dream.
The disappointment hurt Ciro tremendously but he did not give up. The one negative thing about his life was that none of his accomplishments, no matter how big or small seemed good enough for his parents. And now his parents expressed a disinterest in his aspiring passion which angered Ciro terribly. It was then that Ciro decided that he was going to be a wand maker.... the best wand maker the world had ever seen.
Imursing himself in this particular study he quickly learned that he had to have a firm knowledge of of every core subject that Hogwarts was going to offer him. He also learned that book knowledge could only take him so far and he had to excel while at Hogwarts. Instantly after learning this young Ciro began to yearn for his letter to come.... he couldn't wait.
The months turned into years and finally Ciro received his letter. It was time to get his wand and begin his magical studies. After beginning his magical schooling at Hogwarts he began to develop obsessive and rather strange patterns of behavior. Rather than going to Quidditch matches or taking part in activities with his fellow Ravenclaws he would immerse himself in books, research, and other magical componets that would allow him to excel in his studies. Quickly Ciro became recognized by his peers as a stiff for the rules and academics. He later on became a prefect and then to head boy. His accomplishments were great but barely recognized by his own parents. Even his high O.W.L. marks and even more impressive NEWTS scores received little praise and recognition from his family. His graduation from Hogwarts also received the same recognition from his parents. It was if he had done nothing.
It was from his Hogwarts graduation on that Ciro vowed to please his parents and fulfill his dream of becoming a wand maker. Shortly after his graduation Ciro found a man by the name of Jimmy Kiddell a wand maker in Scotland. Mr. Kiddell agreed to assist Ciro in becoming a wand maker and accepted him as his full apprentice.
Five years passed as Ciro served as Kiddell's apprentice and he was finally ready to go out on his own. Returning to his parent's home he had found that his mother had actually died as a result of a deadly wand backfire while defending herself from a giant. This saddened Ciro but he persisted. Asking his father for a loan to start a wand shop his father agreed and sent him on his way. It was from that point on that Ciro had become a very successful wand maker and advisor to the Ministry of Magic.

RP SAMPLE: He had waited for this moment for as long as he could remember and now it was time. Standing outside of the shop he stared up in amazement at the wand maker's sign. The feeling was great and he couldn't believe that it was time. Ciro must have been focusing on the sign for longer than he realized because suddenly a light laugh crossed his ears and a gently hand grasped his shoulder. Turning his head slightly he smiled at the hand on his shoulder; it was his father's and very rarely did he ever show any emotion to his son.
Turning completely around now Ciro smiled at his father. " Shall we go in now Father?"What seemed liked a long moment passed before Ciro's father looked down and nodded in approval. Ciro practically jumped in excitement and stormed forcefully through the wand maker's door. He must have surprised him a bit because the look on the keeper's face was priceless. " I'm here to buy my first wand!" Ciro exclaimed in a higher than normal pitch.
The shop keeper smiled slightly and began to throw out instructions at Ciro. Though he was excited about obtaining his first wand the process was strangely annoying to young Ciro. He hadn't at all expected the process to take as long as it did or to be as much of a chore as it had been. Finally after what seemed like a lifetime of waving numerous wands pointlessly around and murmuring ridiculous spells something just clicked. As the wand maker handed him yet another wand he grasped the wand firmly and gasped as he did so. The feeling was so warm and powerful. Immediately Ciro knew this was the wand for humbug he quickly waved it gently to prove they were compatible. " Lumos!" He exclaimed lightly as the wand lit up brightly around him.
The wand maker smiled and clapped happily. Flicking the wand quickly Ciro turned to his father and was stunned as he spoke. " This is it Father.... this is my wand." His father smiled proudly but quickly turned to wipe what appeared to be tears coming from his eyes. This would be a moment Ciro would never forget.... ever.
Turning back around to the shop keeper he smiled and paid the man. 11 inches of solid blackthorn with a thestral hair core, what a solid wand and great for dueling; Ciro couldn't wait..........
