DETAILED:Liz is about average height for a girl. Not too tall, but not short either. She had her growth spurt early and was one of the tallest girls there for awhile, but everybody else started shooting up as well. She's got dark brown hair, that she keeps fairly long. Her skin is fair, though she does tan a bit during the summer. The tans go away after the summer months though.
She's got a celtic triquetra tattoo on her right shoulderblade. Although admirers of Celtic art have often noted that the triquetra (Latin tri quetrus for three-cornered) is an endless and eternal knot, somewhat akin to the great circle of life or the path that comes back to its own beginning, there is actually very little that is known about the origin or meaning of the symbol. But Liz thought that it looked really cool, so that's what she got for her tattoo.
Appearance is very important to Liz, especially since she's a teacher and wants to look her best. But she was always like that when she was going to Hogwarts as a student too. She wears her best robes, and does her makeup and hair all nice. She likes to look professional. And when she's not wearing robes, she likes to look nice when she goes out. Preferring to wear girly dresses and skirts. Just really nice things. When it's just her and her daughter relaxing at home or whatever, she's into comfort over what she looks like.
Most of the time, she can be seen with a smile on her face, so she's extremely approachable. She prides herself on that fact, and is always more than willing to help any of her students out or any of the staff. Why walk around all gloomy? So though life has been tough for her, she'd just rather smile and be sunny. But then, she was a Hufflepuff back in her day, so why not?

Organized: She was always extremely organized as a student. Grades were always important to her. And now that she's a teacher, her organizational skills have definitely served her well.
Sweet: Liz was a hufflepuff belle back in her day. So she is really a sweet girl. She likes to think the best of everyone, and doesn't like to prejudge. She is not one for gossip or anything like that. And she believes that if you really get to know your students, there is something there in all of them. And if you just believe in them, they'll always surprise you.
Tough: Though she is sweet, she is not one to be pushed around either. She always likes her students to come to her classes prepared to learn. And if they try to push her around, she won't take it. But as long as her students come to class and don't disrupt it, and ask questions, they'll only see her sweet side.
Determined: If there are students that don't seem to want to try hard or whatever, Liz will do what it takes to get to know that student and get them to try harder. She believes that if each student would just apply themselves more, then any one of them could go far.
Protective: Liz had her daughter at a young age, and she's quite protective of that little girl. Her husband has been dead for three years, and he was the love of her life. She's been set up on dates, but she always thinks in terms about who would be good for her daughter more in terms of who she could fall in love with.
Stubborn:Since she was small, she's always been determined and stubborn to succeed. So in Hogwarts when she figured out that Astonomy was her one great love and passion, she knew that she wanted to teach. After her husband died, she thought those dreams would die. But she was very stubborn and determined to teach. And though she's got a four-year-old daughter, she applied for the job anyway. And since they are working around the fact that she's got a daughter, and lets Ally say at Hogwarts with her, it has worked out okay.
Honest: Though Liz is uncommonly kind to people, she believes in being honest too. She's not exactly blunt, but when asked for the truth, she will give it, and be perfectly honest about it.
Oblivious: She's smart, but after her husband died, when it comes to the opposite sex she's extremely oblivious. They could drop hints left and right that they like her, and she wouldn't get it unless they came right out and said that they were interested in her.
Tends to dwell on the past:Elizabeth survives for her daughter and for her teaching position. But when it comes to thoughts on her husband, she dwells on the past and always thinks that she could have done something to prevent his death. Her friends all try to set her up with guys to get her to move on, but she spends her time too much on the past and never seriously gives other guys a chance. Besides, she's way too busy teaching and spending any spare time with her daughter to give them a fair chance.
Loyal: Loyal to a fault, she would defend her friends with her life if she had to.

Elizabeth was born in New Jersey to Cammi and David Davis. They had moved to America after living in London for some time. Liz had a happy childhood. Her parents were always there for her, and her sister was always her best friend. When her older sister got her letter of acceptance into Hogwarts, Liz was happy for her. But sad because she knew that she would have to wait for three years before she could go herself. And she knew that she would go because she'd been exhibiting signs of being magical. But, she spent the school years and summers learning all she could about magic. Her mother was a muggleborn so she also believed in learning all there was to know about muggles, so Liz was enrolled in elementary school as well. So that kept her busy.
Finally, she turned eleven. And that year, she went off to Hogwarts with her older sister. Her older sister had been sorted into Gryffindor house. So Liz kind of hoped to go there because she'd always relied on her strong, older sister. Instead, she was sorted into Hufflepuff house, which she actually became very grateful for. She started becoming known as the Hufflepuff Belle. She was extremely nice and sweet to all who knew her, including the Slytherins and didn't care about all of the house rivalry. She'd always been able to see the good in anyone regardless of what house they were in, what blood lineage they were, etc.
In her fourth year, she really started to blossom and guys began to notice her. Everybody was surprised when her sights were set on a Slytherin guy named Cameron. He was in his sixth year, and a bit of a bad boy. Her older sister didn't like the fact that Liz liked a Slytherin boy, but there wasn't anything anybody could do about that. Liz got with Cameron, and they were inseparable. What everybody didn't expect was that Cameron changed for Liz. He became an actually decent guy. He began trying in his classes, and he adored Liz. What everybody had expected to happen was that he would influence Liz for the bad. But it was in fact the other way around. Liz influenced Cameron for good.
Everyone also expected their romance to be short-lived, but it wasn't. They stayed together, and a lot of people considered them the best couple at Hogwarts. They were just so kind to each other and anybody could tell that they adored one another. So after they were together for a few years, nobody was surprised when Cameron asked her to marry him right after she graduated Hogwarts. He'd been graduated a couple of years and no longer wanted to wait. He wanted to get married and have kids like they'd already been talking about doing for years. He was settled in the ministry and had a good job, so why not? Liz of course, said yes. She was only seventeen at the time, he was only nineteen.
They were extremely young and their parents tried to talk them out of getting married at such a young age, but they wouldn't hear of it. They were married. It took a while for Liz to be able to get pregnant though. She was finally able to get pregnant at the age of twenty. And then she had Ally when she was twenty-one. And everything was perfect. They'd just started their family. Cameron was really happy in his role at the ministry. Life couldn't be better.
About a year after Ally was born though, Liz sent Cameron out for some formula since they'd run out. And he ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time. He got in the way of a wizard's duel, and the killing curse that had been meant for someone else, hit Cameron instead. When two ministry officials came to Liz's door the next morning, she'd been wreaked with fear and misery when he hadn't come home and she knew what they were going to say before they said anything.
Since then, it has been all about Liz trying to pick up the pieces. Ally is now four years old. And since then Liz has been trying to accomplish her dream of becoming the astronomy teacher at Hogwarts. Her parents and his parents have been good about watching Ally when she's been out getting her schooling or working to support them. They actually moved to London to be closer to her and their grandchild. And finally at the age of twenty-five she was accepted as the Hogwarts astronomy teacher. She told the headmaster about her four-year-old daughter, but she was happy when they promised to work with her on that.
She is extremely excited about starting her classes because it will give her something to take her mind off of her late husband. It has been three years since his death, and she hasn't moved on. Her friends and her sister have been trying to set her up. And though she's gone on a few dates at their insistence, she really doesn't try very hard. She's just looking forward to teaching, and making a difference in the student's lives if she can.
