James is of English heritage having been born into a poor, but pure blooded Wizarding family. To look at him now, you would see old and tired eyes, long, shabby hair and slight stubble adorning his slight double chin. His hair is hazel brown, but is starting to grey slowly with age. He has a fairly large brow with a broad nose that sits on his face like a small button. He has thin, but healthy looking lips. James can usually be found wearing old shabby robes that look to be moth eaten. While on most days his chin will be nothing but stubble and whiskers, on occasion he will shave it.
