DETAILED: Tiana is 5'2 with black hair and brown eyes. She has pierced ears and wears contacts. She describes herself as average...that is, she's not ugly, but she's no supermodel either. Her best feature is her hair, which is usually up in a ponytail. Even though other people make fun of her dark skin, she's perfectly fine with how she looks. She tends to stand up straight, and carries herself with plenty of confidence. Her arms are slender and her legs are muscular from all the sports she does. Her build is also muscular, and her stomach is pretty flat. Because she loves sports so much, she tends to watch what she eats and doesn't over indulge on sweets or butterbeer.

DETAILED: Tia is what people would call a nerd. Ever since she had started school, people would avoid her because weird things happened when she got upset. Because of that, she preferred to read instead, because at least the books didn't make fun of her weirdness. Now that she's at Hogwarts, she became more outgoing and had friends who didn't think she was a freak. She's easy to get to know, and once she makes friends, she's loyal to the end. Because of her loyalty, she won't hesitate to defend herself or her friends if someone is picking on them, usually by jinxing or hexing them. Her sense of loyalty and fairness also extends to the professors. If she feels a professor is being unjust, she won't hesitate to speak up and state her point of view. The flip side of her being so studious is that she's a perfectionist, and if she doesn't do what she feels is her best work, she gets upset. As well as being a perfectionist, all her years of playing muggle sports have made her super competitive. She tends to be hard on herself if she doesn't get high grades on every subject she takes in Hogwarts. Her dream is to be an Auror, so she wants to get an O in every subject required, which includes Charms, Transfiguration, Herbology, Potions, and DADA. As a result, she is usually found studying in the library during breaks. Her years at Hogwarts have made her even more determined to prove herself to all those people who have made fun of her for being a muggle born witch. Because of the need for studying, she tends to keep to herself and hasn't really interacted with many of her housemates. The one thing Tia is is a stickler for rules. Unless there is an extraordinary circumstance, she doesn't like to do anything that could cause her to lose any points.

DETAILED: Tiana Rosalie Michaels was born in London, England, and is the only child of Daniel & Rosalie Michaels. Ever since she could remember, strange things had been happening around her. Every time someone bullied her in school, they usually ended up with something hitting them in the face. It wasn't until her 11th birthday when she finally found out she was a witch. She received a letter from Hogwarts, and at first she thought it was a practical joke from one of the kids who made fun of her. It wasn't until a teacher came to her house and explained everything to her that she realized that she was indeed a witch. She was still skeptical until she got her wand at Diagon Alley, and it shot out blue sparks when it chose her. Once she arrived at Hogwarts, she was still a little apprehensive, but that quickly changed with her sorting. From then on, she became determined to be one of the best students Hogwarts has ever had.

RP SAMPLE: In a two bedroom apartment in London, all was quiet until an alarm clock suddenly went off. As the sun started streaming into the bedroom, a brown hand hit the off button on the alarm. Tiana woke up and started getting dressed, tripping over various things, while scowling. If there was anything that she wasn't, it was a morning person. Once she finished getting dressed, she brushed her hair and tied it in its usual ponytail. Afterwards, she went down to the kitchen and had some breakfast. Once she finished eating, she headed back up to her room and did some last minute packing. First she locked the cage of Ani, her grey owl. Then she took out her moneybag and placed it in her pocket. Finally, she put all her books and robes in her trunk and locked it. After heaving her trunk and cage downstairs, she placed it in the trunk of her dad's car, and got in, ready for the long journey to Hogwarts. She then arrived at the station and dragged her trunk and cage through the barrier. Once she got to the train, she sat down in an empty compartment and got out the book she was currently reading, which was a well worn copy of Antony and Cleopatra, one of her favorite works of muggle literature. She then leaned back in her seat and relaxed, ready to start her OWL year

Hey there and welcome to the board! Unfortunately your application is far from being completed, but here are some things that need to be tweaked before we can accept your application:

1) You need to include an image at the top of your application like it asks to, as well as your three icons in your appearance section. If you need help making the 100x100 icons I can help you with that, but finding the pictures you should be able to do.
2) If she is 14 then she should be in 4th year, not 5th (based on her birthday). The years and age do not match up.
3) Your appearance section is only 60 words unfortunately and you need it to be at least 300. Please elaborate on this. How does she wear her hair? Does she stand confidently or slouch? How is her physique and why? There are many many different things that you can/should still talk about in this section. If you need any help, check out the other applicants that have already been sorted into their house. Their applications should help you think of ideas.
4) Your personality section is only 223 words when it needs to be 300. Your going to have to elaborate on this as well. What do you mean by "weird things happen when she gets mad?" Is she athletic? You mentioned she played volleyball. Is she competitive? Is she snoopy? Is she a hard worker. There are tons and tons and tons of thing that you can say (and need to say) in order to fill this space. And don't stop at 300! You can keep going =) If you need guidance look at some of the other applications.
5) Same deal with your history. You need to elaborate until you've reached at least 300 words minimum. Unfortunately we do not allow super powers on the board so changing someone s hair colour isn't necessarily allowed. Also please discuss deeper into her childhood and also include her first couple of years at Hogwarts (since she is a fourth year). Again if you need guidance, take a peek at the other applications.
6) The minimum word count on the board is 300 words and your RP doesn't fit that requirement. You can use an RP from a different site, but you need to prove that you can RP 300 words and be able to keep that up with every post you make on the site. Just as a heads up.

Making an application for your character could be tediuos, but it could be a lot of fun! Don't rush and keep writing. Everything that we should know about your character should be mentioned so that we can tell if our characters are a good match for her to RP with, or if they will be an enemy or a love interest etc. etc. The more you provide the better it will be for everyone, and the better it will be for you to understand your character!

Hey there, unfortunately this is still excluding some things.

1) I fixed your image at the top for you, but if your going to be a member here it is highly recommended that you learn your basic codes =) You'll be using them a lot more than you think
2) Your icons are supposed to be 100x100 as in something like this:

If you need help making or finding them then let the administrator know and he can help you look/make them for you. But you do need three of that size.
3) Your personality is still not long enough as it is only just over 100 words. There is a word counter on the side of the site (underneath the house points) in which you can paste your text and it'll tell you how many words it is. If it is not over 300 then unfortunately it is not long enough.
4) Same goes for your History section
5) Your RP section is not long enough either. Be aware that the word count, again, is 300 so if you cannot match this with every IC post you make, it may be worth thinking this through.
