DADA Class Start Up

I; Professor Ciro Antonio Carrado, am pleased to announce the start up of your Defense Against the Dark Arts instruction. Classes will begin this Monday at the following times: 9AM, 11:30 AM, 1:30 PM, and 3:30 PM. Times are based upon your year and your schedules should reflect which times are appropriate for you.

Most of you are aware that I am the newest member of the staff here at Hogwarts. But alas, I have zero tolerance for nonsense both inside of my classroom and out. I expect nothing more than excellence from all of my students; particularly those found in Ravenclaw.

I only three rules for my class and they are as follows: 1. Professionalism is everything in the world so all students must conduct themselves in such a manner. In other words, students are expected to report to my class in the appropriate dress attire and have all class materials ready prior to the beginning of the lecture. ( dress code strictly enforced)

2. Tardiness is heavily frowned upon and will not be tolerated. Students are expected to be ready ten to fifteen minutes prior to the lecture beginning. My philosophy is if you're on time then you're late. Every three minutes a student is late three points will be deducted from their house. Also, no students will be admitted into my class after fifteen minutes of tardiness; any no shows without a legitimate excuse or pass will result in having twenty five points deducted from their houses.

3. Finally, all students are expected to give their all on every assignment and put forth their very best effort in my class. If you do this then your time in my class will be favorable. If not; let's just say an hour can last a lifetime for you.

These are the rules and I expect them to be obeyed. You all will find that I am very strict, but fair. I treat no student better than the next and expect greatness from all that enter through my doors. Good luck students, and I look forward to seeing you all inside of my classroom and watching your progression over the coming years.
