This would be his first lesson in over two months as he was away on business with the Ministry. He was rather pleased and excited to be back, the idea of beg a faculty member here at Hogwarts pleased him, although the appointment of the new Headmistress did not. He had known her and sat with her on many committee meeting with the Minister and she in particular had irritated him rather dramatically.
Looking down for a moment the smile slowly dropped from his face. He didn't like the idea of working with this witch, let alone for her. But they both valued and took great pride in the education of the students here at Hogwarts, perhaps that could be their common ground. Looking up once more Ciro began to slowly circle the desks once more. He was anxious to see his students, and even more excited to see what they had learned in his absence. He did not know their substitute but had heard good things about him. Although Ciro was not pleased to have abandoned his previous instruction in Occlumency he had every intentions on resuming that lesson again. For now he would focus on something just as challenging, just as equal n defense, and then he would peruse Occlumency once more.
As he rounded the final corner of the rounded desks he quickly moved to the front of his classroom and stood boldly by his desk. Pulling out his wand he wordlessly flicked it causing a large moveable chalkboard to fly from its previous location to the front of the classroom. Again he flicked his wand causing the words Wordless and Wandless Magic to appear at the top center of the board.
Again he smiled crookedly and took his seat. How he desired to see his students yet again, and how he was excited to teach yet another lesson here at Hogwarts. Taking in a deep breath he looked down and focused his attention on writing a firm letter to the new Headmistress. A lot was changing here at the school, and it was best that he changed as well. It was certainly important for the better of the students that he did so.

She'd recieved the Professor's kind reminder on his return, of course, so once again she was sitting and rescheduling her planner, trying to fit in her class again in her planner. Finally, she finished the scribbling, put in the various colored inks she used to denote different subjects back inside her drawer, and gathered up her books and got up. She did not want to be late for her class, after all. She packed a bag with the required texts, trying not to think about her last class, which hadn't been her favorite class ever, especially since it had ended with her getting mind probed. She did not know what the next class was going to be about, which made her somewhat nervous, but as she walked to class she tried to stop thinking about that. She poked her head inside the class.
"Good morning, Professor," she said, before slipping all the way inside.
She got into class and was not surprised to see that she was first, after all, she was often first, and lately it seemed like everyone was in a holiday mood and chose to come for classes late or not at all. That was distinctly un-understandable for someone like Arianne, but she ignored it. She was here to study and she didn't really care about what everyone else did. She entered the classroom without any undue noise or disturbance, and started setting up her books and her quill and her parchment in her perfect, neat way. Once she was done with the whole routine, she looked back up at the heading of the class, pulled out a piece of parchment and wrote it down.
Wordless magic she'd heard of, and often. It was apparently something all students were supposed to do by their sixth year. Arianne, who could not even manage magic by saying the words yet perfectly, was quite unsure of how she would deal with having to do magic without words, but she supposed she should be glad that they were getting a head-start. The wandless magic she'd never even heard of, though it sounded really interesting. She opened her book and started leafing through it, her standard pre-class routine, and waited for the class to start.

[/div] tearing love apart, She'd woken up that morning dreaming of a particular guy, and as a consequence was very happy that morning. There was something about getting what she wanted that she could not resist, not one bit. Especially when it had been a struggle to get it. After all, wasn't her whole life like that? She had tried (and lied) so much to get where she was, and she finally had everything - money, popularity, boys, magic - everything. She was feeling like the queen of the world, and she decided she was also going to dress like that. She was wearing her school uniform, as always a little short and very, very tight. Then she'd worn bejeweled high heels, emphasizing the length of her legs. Her school tie had been loosened, and she'd also gotten a necklace with a huge star on. Most noticeably, she was wearing a tiny silver tiara on her head. And of course, she had on her trademark too-much-makeup and so much perfume that you could smell it from half a room away.
She'd decided that she was going to attend DADA, which she'd signed up for at the beginning of the term and not attended a single class later. And then she'd heard the Professor had disappeared after one rather exciting class that everyone had talked about (though why anyone would talk about class after it was over was quite beyond her) and she'd decided it was time to try it out. She liked classes where people made her read or write, but whip out a wand and start doing things - well, that was totally her style. She grinned, and walked into class, throwing the door open with a bang.
And she was early. Damn. She must have misread the stupid schedule. Who wanted to be EARLY with just the (too-old for her) Professor and...she noticed this a little belatedly, the little annoying Ravenclaw? She considered going back out and coming in a while and decided that was too much trouble, so she sat down, sighed, and said, a half hearted, "The Princess is in the castle." (She couldn't resist, she'd been planning it since she'd seen the tiara and decided to wear it). It wasn't even fun to get the attention of the two people in the room, so she sat down on the first desk she found, and rolled her eyes. Perhaps this had been a mistake. Still, she would wait for class to start to maybe walk out...once enough people arrived and the Professor wouldn't notice. 410 words, picture credit safa
