Roll away your stoneNOW ROLL AWAY MINE.Together we can see WHAT WE WILL FIND.
She waited a moment. Nothing had happened. With a quick huff, she lowered the wand, consulted the book, then tried again. This routine was completed a few time until finally, with a flick of the wrist "Avis" rang loud and clear down the corridor, followed shortly by the loud twittering of birds, disrupting the peace of the hallway. Rowena smiled to herself and watched the birds fly along the corridor, twittering away happily. One of the birds landed on her outstretched hand. Row brought it closer to her, admiring the beautiful greens, and yellows which seamlessly made up it's beautiful plumage. She smiled and delicatley lifted it into the air where it joined it's flock. She leant over to clutch her bag from the corridor floor, brought it up to the sill and burrowed through. Eventually she retrieved a battered, sky blue leather note book, a small bottle of ink and a bright red quill. She traced the silver arrow imprinted into the soft leather on the front of the notepad with her left forefinger. In the bottom right corner of the cover, also imprinted in silver, were the words "Appleby Arrows" The name of Rowena's favourite Quidditch team. Her Father was a big fan and had taken the family to at least one match a year for as long as Row could remember. She smiled to herself before flicking the note book open to the next clear page. She was just scribbling some down some notes under the title "AVIS". The twittering of birds disappeared into the background as her brow furrowed again and her quill scratched across the surface of the page. He was dreaming of his next lesson plan and contemplating on an idea bestowed upon him by the Minister For Magic. This idea was a great idea and would advance Ciro's career greatly, however with the many pros came perhaps even more cons to the idea.
Lost deep within his thoughts something rather odd quickly caught his attention. A small flock of birds quickly came barreling down the seemingly empty corridor and were heading right for him. Immediately Ciro knew the birds were the use of the spell avid as these birds were not only inside, but also acting accordingly with the spell.
As the birds grew closer and closer to him it became apparent he was going to be pelted by the birds if he didn't move or counter the spell. Not moving he quickly reached into his robes and pulled out his wand. Silently he waved it as the birds closed in causing them each to explode without a trace, minus a few feathers that fell swiftly to the ground.
Intrigued now by where these birds came from Ciro began to move both swiftly and silently through the long corridor. There were no classroom in, or near this particular corridor so he knew a student had to be practicing or just goofing off. Suddenly a student came into Ciro's view and a smile appeared on his face. He was unaware if the student had seen him as of yet or not but decided to test her anyway.
Raising his wand he quickly and silently uttered the words," Avis Oppugno." Suddenly another flock of birds appeared from Ciro's wand, circled over him once, and then headed straight for the young girl to attack her. Her reaction would determine how Ciro would go about handling the student's practicing magic in an unauthorized area. Smiling now Ciro sat back and watched the birds perform their task.
