Students, Welcome to Transfiguration! Please be advised of a couple of rules that you must agree to follow by taking this class. It also shows you a little bit about myself.
I will not tolerate tardiness. If you are late you will owe that time after the class when everyone else is gone. It will not be viewed as a detention, however you will sit there for that many minutes doing a task that I see fit. You will also lose points for your house. (OOC: If you are a new member or have just signed up, I obviously won't dock you for that haha)
If you have a question or are ready with an answer to one of mine you must raise your hand before I call on you. Anyone who calls out in my eyes is trying to show off their intelligence and it is not something I allow.
House points will be given for attendance and for assignment completion as well as possible answers to questions if I decide at that time to do so. House points will also be given depending on your grade in an assignment or test. The higher the grade, the more house points you will get so try your best to complete them! You learn by doing and practicing so keep that in mind.
OOC: I will post a start of a lesson and will give you about 48 hours to reply before your character is late. If you think that you won't be able to post on time then PM me and I'll excuse you from being late so no worries! If I myself take a bit longer to post than you are on time until I post that the door has shut and any other students will be late.
Good luck, Professor Giancarlo Matleo

First of all, these are the required readings for Transfiguration class and must be brought with you at all times. They will help you in class and with assignments. Depending on your year...
A Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration (1-3) Intermediate Transfiguration (4-5) Guide to Advanced Transfiguration (6-7) This is where I will post all of your marks for your assignments, tests and such. Please note the following information
O - Outstanding E - Exceeds Expectations A - Acceptable P - Poor D - Dreadful T - Troll
The higher the mark, the more house points you will earn and the better you will do overall in my class. I will also be putting another code of letters beside your name, they decode to mean Pr - Present L - Late Sk - Skipping LE - Left Early NM - New Member Ab - Absent
Just so you know what they all mean. So check here later on after assignments are handed in and such and it will show your grade and how well you did.
OOC: Now obviously I'm not going to force you to do any homework assignment haha they are totally optional. If you do complete them then you will be awarded house points and it will go here in the gradebook. If you do not complete them then it will just be assumed you did but I will not add it to the gradebook and you will not get house points. They won't be anything long at all haha so it's totally up to you when you see them if you want to do it or not!

Note: If you did not do the OOC homework your character automatically gets an A. If you did not show up for this class your name is not going to be here. If you showed up but did not do the in class portion then you did not receive a mark at all. Thanks and see you in lesson two.
