The night seemed like it was becoming very much interesting as Kenny was keeping Cassandra very much accompany. He would want to maybe have the chance to have a romantic experience and maybe even a date. He did hope that the right girl would be there for him honestly and yet he wished it would happen as soon as possible. He did enjoy really befriending Cassandra tonight and knowing that the two students in this tower shared so much the same troubles from troubled childhoods and both being shy around people in Hogwarts.
Kenny listened to the young girl as she told him about how it was hard for her to handle the troubles but she managed to get by it. She told him that it’s best to move on from all the sadness that both endured and it made him felt better than before. He was happy that he was getting to know Cassandra real well even though that both were in different houses and it was like the plot of a romantic movie waiting to happen between the two. “It is best to learn to move on, I have to agree, honestly I’m happy to know that we can move on.” he said as he blushed a bit more feeling like something was about to happen.
The two were looking at the stars as Kenny hoped to find any of the constellations that he learned about before at the lake. However for now it seemed the constellations were not forming for now as he was still trying to look hard. Suddenly he felt that Cassandra moved closer to him as if she was probably getting fond of him which made him surprised even more. Suddenly in an unexpected move he felt Cassandra lips on his lips in what was a sudden yet lovely kiss making him surprised. He looked on Cassandra and smiled as he begin to speak. “That…That was lovely” he said hoping it would happen again but was she in love with him he wondered?

Everyone she knew kept saying that they did not do commitment. No one seemed to ever want commitment. One day she wanted to settle down and be with a loving husband but at this point in her life she was only fifteen. Maybe there was some sort of fear of commitment since her mom left her. If women could leave men after seventeen years of marriage then how could teenagers be expected to stay togehter in the long run.
Moving on had been her theory since she gave up on her mom coming back. But maybe talking about it might help her out in the end. After all Kenny knew exactly how she felt. It made her feel great and like she found someone to confide in. So between the two of them it might not have been love but they did have a shared experience that would bring them closer together... at least as friends.
To her the kiss had been unexpected as well. It was just something she felt the urge to do right then and there. The moment seemed right with the stars in the window behind them and the tower all to themselves. She looked at him afterwards and just looked directly into his eyes. After he said that it was lovely she nodded and then looked down at her feet.
"Shall we try again? This time just not out as surprised?" She asked. It interested her to do more only because her hormones were running through her body and she just wanted to try this whole thing of kissing and making out. Then she smiled and leaned back against the wall as she waited for him to make the decision. Would it go beyond kissing, probably not because she was not comfortable doing that with someone she did not love. Love would definately be a factor in going beyond kissing.

Kenny felt like the world had stood still as a result of what had just went down. Earlier he felt all sad and down as if no one wanted to be around him. However all that somehow changed in just a matter of time on this special night which was like no other because of him meeting up with someone in the astronomy tower. When he met Cassandra he felt like she was probably different than him and that she would be somewhat of a loner who needed time to herself and thought he would be a problem.
Since he met with Cassandra the night has really been simple and full of unexpected surprises for the young hufflepuff. He learn that she was half blood like he was and that she also has had a trouble past like him only her father was a wizard and her mother was a muggle. Even though the two students were in different classes being that Cassandra was a Slytherin while he was Hufflepuff it appeared the two actually seemed to get along with the traits that make them connect well. It seemed that Kenny did not had to worry about being the only kid that was shy when it came to making friends as Cassandra also had the same problem like him. He did hope that together they would move on from the troubled past and maybe do real well in Hogwarts.
The sudden Kiss on the lips by Cassandra was something he was not expecting but yet he really enjoyed it as he gazed at Cassandra’s lovely eyes as she asked if he wanted to do it again which really took him by surprise. “Well, of course we can try again.” He replied in a calm tone as he saw her lean by the wall waiting for him as he walked by her looking at her and slowly held her hands for now unless she felt like wanting to go and embrace him before kissing as he would wait for her to kiss.

She wanted that surprised life. She wanted a life like she saw in the muggle movies her sister made her watch, like how two people would meet and instandly fall in love. Of course she always kept a realistic point of view since that never happened. Two people could never just meet up and know that the other is the one. Plus Cassandra did not want to just settle while in Hogwarts. She wanted to experience life. If someone was the right person for her then she believed fate would reunite them if they ever parted.
Her past was behind her and she wanted to just focus on school and do well in school while being popular. If she was popular then she would have something to enjoy about her life. And to have people notice her would make her feel so much better. She saw how people looked at the lovely pureblooded women and why couldnt people look at Cassandra that way? She was good at pretending she was pureblood and she was pretty enough in her uniform. it annoyed her so that she blended in so much and it made her an outcast in her house.
She looked back into his eyes. It felt wierd to look into someones eyes and just look. the eyes were the gateway to the soul, as she had been told a million times. Normally she did not like to look at people in thier eyes, but this situation called for it. And in her opinion he had nice eyes. Then she watched him walk over to her and took her hand. She playfully pulled him closer to her and she bit her lip. Leaning against the wall was her attempt at looking sexy for him. 'Then come here and lets try again."

Kenny was always reminded that finding love can be easy or difficult depending on how the person thoughts on it goes. He wanted love to happen to him once and for all and yet he always seemed to fail in finding the true romance for him. He wanted the relationship to happen to him finally and end up having a future where he ends up getting married and settling down with a family life. He always dreamed of it and yet no matter how wonderful it seemed, he always ends up messing up in the romantic lifestyle almost every day here at Hogwarts.
He had his hand on Cassandra’s hand hoping that maybe she would probably do the kissing again like she did before but this time maybe even embraced him like what happens in those romance films that his wizard mother told him about when he was a kid after moving with her to England. He noticed that Cassandra felt like she was nervous or something when she looked at his eyes as he probably thought she was not used to it at all. He really thought her eyes were very lovely as well as her hair which looked very clean and shiny as he used his free hand a bit to straighten up his glasses and making sure they were not fogged up.
Apparently it seemed that Cassandra had other ideas as she pulled him towards her while leaning at the wall as she looked at him even more as she agreed that they should go and try it again as Kenny smiled at her decision. He was probably expecting her to kiss him again but it seemed that she wanted him to probably do it this time as he never actually done it before but he was ready to pull it off as he closed his eyes and slowly placed his lips onto Cassandra’s lovely lips hoping she would react to him kissing her.

She did have moments in her memory of her parents being happy. Actually most of them were pretty happy with her mom home from work and making a dinner while she ran around with her sister and brother. Then her dad would come home from a muggle job. He worked all of the wierd muggle jobs, like street sweeper, and things like that. Once he revealed his magical side she figured that muggle jobs were probably easier with magic.
Everything turned when she became magical. once in a while she used to begged for her powers to go away but now that she was in her fifth year and doing so well she was proud of them. Cassandra tried to be top of her class and most of the time she did. But now it was time to focus on becoming a good teenager. Time to kiss boys and dress a little more in a sexier manner.
The blocks of the tower were cold against her back as she leaned against them but his lips were warm against hers. She let go of his hand and slowly moved it up his arm. She wanted to have the feeling of him holding her as they kissed. Her other hand was against the wall and keeping her steady. She felt special but wanted more right now but she wasnt sure how to show him that it was alright to go further. There was always the agressive way.
She brought her other hand up and placed it on his arm. Ever so lightly she pulled him closer to her. But how far was he going to go? She figured just some kissing but then they would talk about what would happen next? Friendship definately but who knew about a relationship.

When he was young Kenny felt that being magical would eventually make him feel like a total outcast among the other young kids. He never imagined that being a wizard would end up being nothing more than being different and often easy target for being bullied and picked on by the muggles. When he moved to England with his mother he would assumed that he would make it easy in finding friends to play with, though he was wrong as he laughed at and often outcasted so much it made him really sad.
Now that he was in his fifth year at Hogwarts things were going alright, he was enjoying being a wizard just like his wizard mother told him when he was a kid that being a wizard may be different but its nothing to be scared about at all. He is now experiencing what may be the most heartfelt moment of his life as he is with Cassandra at the tower apparently making her feel better with his presence as they are together sharing a romantic kiss as the stars and moon are out brightly above. He noticed that Cassandra was actually enjoying the kiss as much as expected.
As Cassandra moved her hands to his arms Kenny’s reaction was to be surprised but he did not want to go and mess up the moment that the two were enjoying. He then moved his hands slowly around her keeping her in a warm comforting embrace so that she wouldn’t feel any cold as he noticed she felt a bit cold from the walls of the tower. It finally did dawn to him that he was in love with Cassandra and he felt that maybe she might have love him as she pulled him closer which seem to really surprise him even more. He wanted to release the kiss to tell her but he felt like it should wait as he continue to kiss her lips making her feel better.

She thought about a moment in her life that always stood out in her mind. The day she discovered she was magical. It was very late and she had been playing hide and go see with her siblings. Cassandra was always the youngest so very rarely was she left to go hide on her own. That night she was on her own and they were playing in the woods. She found the little river than ran though and stood next to it. While she stood there it was like the whole forest filled with light and magic just filled the air. Her whole body filled with happiness.
This moment was kind of smiliar to that. The air was filled with something magical and the tower was filled with bright moon light. And she felt happy. But it could have been her hormones playing tricks on her. She squeezed his arms slightly as they kissed because it just felt passionate. Her body wanted more and she knew that at some point she would have to stop. She could not go all the way for the first time right now even if the moment was wonderful.
His embrace was welcomed and wonderful. Her body felt so connected to his and there was only contact between lips and hands. The cool of the wall was calming while the heat from the kiss was so exciting. The balance kept her body and mind in check. The only reason she pulled him closer was to further the kiss. her mind was running through her feelings at that moment... scared, happy, sexy. At this point she slowly pulled back from the kiss. "very good."
But instantly she was regretting breaking the kiss. Now they were probably going to talk about them. Secretly she did not want to deal with those questions. Those questions involved things like commitment and were they going to be exclusive. Couldnt they be friends that had the potiental for dating. She looked into his eyes and then waited to see what he wanted to do.

The moment was getting so much good for Kenny as his kissing with Cassandra was going on without any worries what so ever. He now realized that this may be what true romance actually feels like for anyone else as his eyes were closed. He thought about how he first discovered magic when he was a kid, he first discovered the magic back in America when he was in his room just playing with his stuffed toys and staying calm. He then suddenly noticed some of his stuff toys were floating up a bit and then moving side to side as Kenny would move his hand as if he was controlling them in a wind.
Discovering the magic was a real major surprise to Kenny but this moment as he and Cassandra were kissing was an even bigger surprise than one can ever go and imagined. He then felt his arms being squeezed by her as if she was really enjoying this moment as much as he was. He didn’t know what to expect next as he had a feeling Cassandra did not want to stop at all but yet she didn’t want to go on much further being that this was the first time.
When Cassandra finally released her lips from him, Kenny was not sure what to think about the result. His mind was so racing hoping that if she really enjoyed the kiss and his warm embrace as she looked at him making Kenny smiled brightly. He then took a few normal breaths as he was trying to think of something to say as he nearly felt exhausted from this romantic experience. “I’m glad you enjoyed it as much as I did” he said as he continued to looked upon her and continue to speak. “I just want to let you know that…I think I’m falling in love with you” he said not afraid of what may happen as he finally said it to her once and for all hoping she would be surprised by his words.

After the kiss she looked into his eyes but then let her gaze wonder off to the window. She looked at the black sky next to them. Part of her always hoped to end up marrying a pureblood and cleaning her family line of the muggle in her. If it was gone then her children could live without fear. Was that too high of an expectation to hold? After her mother left she got the chance to meet her grandmother on her fathers side. She was an interesting lady who spoke of nothing but bloodline and even though Cassie was a halfblood she was still her granddaughter. Once her grandmother talked about an arraged marriage to get the blood line pure again.
Her gaze found a few stars that hung in the sky just so perfectly like they were going to stay there forever. of course once the skys shifted those stars would be in a new place and continue to move across the sky. In some way it was a metaphor for human life and if she had been more into poety she could have found it. And then she looked back at him just in time to hear him speak. "you are falling in love with me?" She asked. "but how? You know a few of my life secrets and you kissed me once. Is that love and how can you know we are only 15?"
Her words were probably very painful but in her opinion you could not just run around saying that you were falling in love with someone at fifteen. They were so young... her parents had been married longer than they had been alive and they still failed. She dropped her arms and just looked at him. Part of her body was saying to run and that this was all a big mistake. How could she have lead him on like that?
Now she understood what Diana felt like when she used people and it was just and awful feeling. "I am sorry Kenny. Love is just a strong word and you barely know me. " She explained and tried to be nice this time. She sighed and ran her fingers through her hair. Why couldnt they just go back to kissing and lay feeling aside for a time when they could just talk?

Kenny just realized that what he just said might have been a bit too much for Cassandra to handle. Apparently he ended up saying that he was probably falling in love with her and it resulted in her being probably a bit shocked and maybe upset. He felt that he once again ruin the moment by even saying the one word that had always been around his mind since growing up and that word was happening to be love. He was hoping that he would probably at least make her feel calm and very much happy as he said this but he then realized that it was probably not meant to be.
As soon as Kenny spoke the words to Cassandra she asked him why as because they barely knew each other and that they only knew a few of each other’s secrets. She also reminded him that they were only 15 years old which hit Kenny hard like a hard bat to the knee as Kenny felt a bit down and sad by this. “I’m……Sorry. I didn’t know what came over me.” He said sadly as if he might have been insulted by her remarks. He could not believe that he just had to say those words to her just like that when he really thought things were going ok.
“It’s true I barely know you, but being here with you tonight I felt something special. I mean your one of the nicest people I have ever met” he said as he felt a tear about to form in his eye but he had no time to wipe it as he begin to speak some more to her. “Well, I’ve always wanted to know what it was like to fall in love, I mean it seemed like its easy for everyone but it’s hard for me for some reason.” He added hoping that maybe Cassandra would probably understood what he was talking about. He then removed his glasses a bit and wiped the tear that was forming in his eye hoping that Cassandra would not see it.

It wasnt that it wasnt ment to be just right this second was it was too much to handle. She felt bad now because she did not mean to freak out at him. if anyone ruined the moment it was definately her because of how she acted. Here was this great guy, who really understood her and he just kissed her. Now she was not moving on from her parents tragedy.
The way that he responded to her first comment made her feel even worse than before. He looked like she had called him a halfblood in a mocking tone in front of his friends. But that was not her intentions. "I didnt mean that to insult you... I just freaked out. Its tough. My parents were in love for seventeen years and now nothing. The word love scares me." She explained to him and just wanted him to be nice to her again.
He was such a nice person and she wanted him to be her friend when they walked out of the room but she figured that her comments fuck it all up. When he took off his glasses to wipe away the tear she moved closer and hugged him. Her body was pressed up against his. "You arent bad at romance and you will fall in love." She said to comfort him but she really believed it to be true. He was such a great guy that she knew he would fall in love, maybe in a few years it would be her. At this moment though they were two broken people.
She just stood there hugging him. "The moment was special... it was like nothing I ever felt before. I just would rather get to know you more before the word love is thrown around. Can you forgive me Kenny?" She asked and took a deep breath. Her life was too depressing, they both needed to just have fun and have the pressures of life removed from thier shoulders. "I think the both of us just need some fun in our lives." She added

It appeared as Kenny’s sadness seemed to be fading away from him as he noticed that Cassandra felt bad about reacting to him saying that he was in love. He had a feeling this girl was something special even though she was in the Slytherin class which was different than the Hufflepuff class that he was in. He was still moving on from the abusive father he and his wizard mother had left to start over as a young wizard in the making.
Kenny listened to Cassandra when she told him that she never meant to hurt him like that at all. She went to tell Kenny that it was tough for her about love and that her parents were in love for 17 years as it resulted in nothing but heartache and hurt for her. Kenny then realized that it really must have been real tough for her as he never really asked his mother much about his muggle father at all. He noticed that she was hoping that maybe he will feel better again after he explanation as he looked at her and gave a nice smile at her to let her know that he was feeling quite better.
She really was a unique and sweet girl that he had the great chance of getting to know honestly and he really wanted to be on good terms with her knowing that she will have a good future in Hogwarts. When Kenny wiped the tear off his eye he noticed that Cassandra begin to hug him as she stayed close to him once again like they were when they were sharing the romantic kiss. He kept his smile and hugged back at her as he kept the embrace nice while she told him he is good at romance and that he will fall in love. She then asked for forgiveness along with wanting to get to know him more before the word love is thrown around as he begin to speak up. “I Forgive you Cassandra and yes its best for us to know each other for now.” He said as they stayed there hugging “I think your right about us needing fun in our lives. I wonder how we can?” he said to himself.

Slytherin and Hufflepuffs were quite different. All the houses were different, that was what made them unique. But Cassandra believed that in the end the house did not matter because in the real world everyone worked together and lived together. Who cared what you were at Hogwarts. Its not like she would turn down a job because the man interviewing her was from Gryffindor. That would be stupid. But lately Cassandra had been connecting to people inside and outside of her house.
The smile he finally gave her made her just relax. She gave a sigh of relief and then smiled back at him. A nice friendly smile that seemed to light up her face and bring some sort of happieness back to thier mood. Maybe once everyone was happy again a little bit of the kissing could continue. That would have made her happy because he was nice and the whole first kiss thing made her feel like a real teenager.
Since she was only five feet and two inches tall she was pretty short so she probably was able to lay her head on his shoulder while they hugged (assumeing that he is taller than her). The tower had gotten chilly so having another human there to warm her made the chill of the night air that much better. If she had to guess she figured Kenny would fall in love before he left Hogwarts, once he made more friends and felt less like an outcast. There were so many girls here who wanted to fall in love and be head over heels romantic. In her opinion it was just a matter of time, but until then she could help him with romance.
"Thanks." She whispered after he said that he forgave her. Afterall her intentions were never to hurt him, but she just wanted it to be known that love was not a word to use right now. Love was for after a few months of non stop dating and things working out perfectly. "we could kiss again... kissing was fun." She said and smiled. Probably too soon for that but it was worth a try.

Kenny felt better that Cassandra explained to him about why she reacted a bit after he said to her that he was falling love and now that after all the misunderstanding that happen to make the two upset. Kenny thought to himself if a Hufflepuff and a Slytherin can eventually get along and yet for tonight things were going alright between the two young 15 year olds. Sure he was a full member of the Hufflepuff house, but he seemed to do a good job befriending students from other houses. The two had somewhat of a bond apparently because of there troubled pasts and shyness and Kenny had a feeling that Cassandra will find someone to love someday.
As the two are embracing while he felt the cold air trying its best to go to them Kenny knew that the happiness was back and ready for them as he felt Cassandra’s head rest on his shoulder, he was a bit tall than her and it felt really nice to at least help her out and have her rest on his shoulders. As this happened Kenny slowly stroked her beautiful hair feeling the softness of it from his hands for a moment as it seemed that nothing bad can happen at all. They were here together and they were attempting to move forward from the trouble pasts once and for all.
Just then he heard Cassandra say something about them kissing again maybe as Kenny was a bit surprised by this. The first kiss they had was magical and yet can they do it again with another romantic kiss? Kenny looked at her and never removed his smile as he begin to speak up to her. “Well….I think that’s a wonderful idea…Only this time I like it if you start it this time only fair being I started it last time. Ok?” he said hoping that Cassandra would like the idea of starting the kissing this time out of simple fairness being that he did it already.
