  It would be a lie of Thelma told someone she didn’t love bonfires. She absolutely loved them, and everything about them. From the fire aspect, to the smores, and even the smoky stench you could never really get off your clothes after they had been near the roaring fire. Something that didn’t always coincide with a bonfire, but Thelma absolutely loved was fireworks. She didn’t care if they were magical or muggle. Something about the colorful orbs of light dancing across the sky was so odd, yet beautiful at the same time. Thelma had fallen in love with fireworks when she was a girl, and had been visiting her uncle in the states. It was there Independence Day and Thelma was six. Although she hated the noise she loved the display. Thelma still wasn’t one for the noise of fireworks, but as she grew older, she cared less about the noise and more about the beauty. When Thelma heard they were looking for a professor to set off the fireworks she instantly volunteered, without even thing about it. It wouldn’t be the first time that Thelma had set off fireworks, but it had never been such a big display. She was ready to set them off, and have that satisfaction of watching them, and knowing that she started the chain reaction. Pulling her wand out of the front pocket of her robe, Thelma prepared to set the fireworks off. She was ready for this. It felt like reliving her childhood, she had burnt marshmallow crusted around her mouth. She probably looked like a six year old, just add twenty six years. It was officially time. With a wave of her wand, and a load boom, the show had officially begun. Thelma walked over to where she and a couple of the other professors had been sitting. Thelma sat down and enjoyed the show.
