Lucy walked around the store, seeing how bright it was in the early afternoon and she smiled. She loved working there, it was like a third home to her since Hogwarts was second and all. But this place made her feel safe, somewhat but none the less safe. She didn't know if it was the sweet or sour smell of each candy that was in the room constantly, or the bright colors on the walls that made the place even more inviting. Something in that place made her happy, truly happy. But what was it she wondered?
Lucy placed her hair in a messy bun, wiping her hands on her apron that she was wearing and went to fill the other vials of candy to the top, her boss liked it to the top so that there would be no need to refill for awhile. This candy dish was of all of the sour candies, which Lucy honestly didn't like as much as the sweets. The scent filled her nostrils, making her a bit agitated but she kept filling it up. She would look outside every once in awhile to see who was walking by or who was going to come in for a sweet or two.
The redhead didn't have a whole lot of friends, since her time was taken up with Quidditch and all. But she didn't mind having a handful of friends, it was nice to see them pop by the shop and say hello to her. It was the Slytherins that she hated, coming in to harass or make fun of her, it was tiring after years and years of putting up with it. She wanted to graduate and be done with it, get out into the world and be a professional quidditch player.
She wanted to be free.

& I WAKE UP EVERY EVENING WITH A BIG SMILE ON MY FACE ( and it never seems out of place ) Food was a big part of Steven’s life. It probably came third, first being magic, second being Quidditch, and then food, any kind, Steven didn’t mind. As long as it had a satisfying taste, Steven would much on it. Thank God for Quidditch of Steven would be morbidly obese. One of Steven’s biggest weaknesses was candy, he had so have some at all times. Sadly he was running low on his stash and it was time to stock up. Steven never had a want, his family, was well off, his Father was a trust fund baby, and if and when his parents passed he would be sky high in gold.
The scent of the sweet shop was overwhelming; it was like a mixture of Haven and bliss combined into a perfect equilibrium. Honeydukes was defiantly Steven’s favorite candy store. He could spend all day in the store tasting and browsing the different types of candy. Sadly today he was on a quick mission, his stash was low, and he needed a major refill. His pockets were weighed down with gold and he was ready to shop.
Steven loved the whole basket idea at Honeydukes, you would fill a basket, and then it would be weighed and depending on the weight was how much you payed. Steven already filled two of the large baskets, and could easily fill five more if he wanted. Sadly he didn’t have much time, so he was going to stick with three. Throwing a bunch of random junk in the third basket until it was full to the brim. Steven walked up to the cash register, but no one was there. Setting the three baskets down, Steven craned his neck around looking for someone who worked there. He didn’t see anyone so he decided to use his voice instead. “Hello? Can anyone help me?”

Lucy was in the back room, refilling some of the candy when she heard someone in the front. She walked back out, her apron on and her wand sticking out from the front pocket. She took out her wand and waved it towards the record player in the corner, having the sort music be heard over the speakers in the room. It was nice to have music play in the store when others were inside, it gave a soothing feeling and a nice warm texture in the candy shop. Other shops played elevator music, but she played jazz. It was zazzy, it was unusual, and she loved every part it.
She walked out to the front as she placed her wand back in her front pocket. She saw a boy her age if not older, looking around and she smile, walking over to the cash register and moving some things out of the way before she spoke to him. He was only one in the store and she decided to be more causal with hi, he seemed like a casual guy anyhow.
"Hello, can I help you?" She asked him aloud as she tilted her head to the side at him. Her red hair framed her face, and she looked down briefly, looking at her red hair that was now past her shoulders. She wondered if she needed a haircut or let it grow out. She liked it wrong, but it was hard since she was in quidditch and she would have to place it in a messy bun and away from her eyes.
The boy in front of her looked a bit older than her, but not that much. He was good looking, but in all honesty Lucy was more concerned if he needed something from her store. Certain students who come in her store look at the place like it's heaven on earth, or something in that nature. She agreed, being surrounded by candy, breathing in the sweet scent of sugar goodness, it's a wet dream for the typical student.
