M E R L E s h e p h e r d s o n While he's having a smoke Suddenly, she was pushing more candy into his mouth. He grinned brightly, accepting it and chewing, snickering lightly. He wasn't too fond of candy in general, but he did like the sour stuff. He would always eat lemons, yes, entire lemons raw at the dinner table, if they were available. Anytime there was a lemon, he'd use a thumbnail to cut open the skin and peel it and eat it like it was an orange. His face wouldn't even scrunch up from the sourness, either. He'd always practically groan in ecstasy though. Lemons were probably his favorite fruit. He couldn't eat a whole lot of them though, as they did a number on your enamel if you weren't careful. And he didn't eat a whole lot of chocolate, either. Dark chocolate was simply out of the question. Mint chocolate was more his thing, that and milk chocolate, but never in a large amount. He couldn't even eat it without having a glass of milk. He wasn't really much of a candy person, which was funny because his best friend and now his girlfriend practically lived at Honeyduke's. Perhaps it was a good thing! She practically threw her arms around him as he spoke of bringing her back to his home in America for the weekend. That bright smile remained on his face and he held her close. His parents did like her, quite a bit actually. They didn't really want her wandering the premises alone, or even with Merle, though, the past few years. She was too young. But likely, they would allow her to go with Merle to see the dragons up close. Hopefully, at least. And even if they didn't Merle seemed determined to introduce her to Nanto. Merle was sure his parents were excited to see Lucy again, they often asked about her and even mentioned her in a few of their letters. Secretly, he wondered if all of that mentioning was a buggering for him to start dating her. They always asked if he had met any nice girls at Hogwarts, how his social life was. Until Lucy, he had never had any real love interests. But now? She was quickly becoming the very air he breathed. Nestling his head into the nape of her neck, he nuzzled the soft skin he found there before pressing a soft kiss to her neck. "Good, I'm glad!" he murmured, his voice muffled as he nuzzled her neck affectionately. "Oh, don't forget to pack your swimsuit. We can go swimming now. They finally decided to get the pool ready on time this year." he said with a laugh. His family was usually so busy taking care of the dragons and various other aspects of the reserve, they hardly had time to fix up their own house.

Lucy was happy in seeing his positive reaction. She was glad that the both of them would be able to be alone for a day or two, and to be able to see his dragon. His dragon, from the looks of the pictures he has of his dragon, Nanto was rather big now. She never met the dragon face to face, and that is one of her big dreams. So she was very excited to go to America. It would be a big culture shock to her, since their accent was different and their food as well. But she would take her camera, a gift from her father, and take plenty of pictures. Sure she came from a pureblood family, but they new the muggle technology.
"Should I bring my camera? Oh, I can take pictures of Nanto and show them to my family, I told them about her and they love dragons too." Lucy explained in a giggle and popped a candy in her own mouth, feeling the milk chocolate go down her throat in a smooth way, almost like a drink. She loved chocolate, more than any candy in her shop, and her shop had the best kinds of chocolate really. But she was glad to try the candy in America too, if they were the same or if they were different.
She sighed when he nuzzled into her neck and spoked about her bringing a swimsuit. He did talk about how they were going to have a pool soon but it never got around, but now he was telling her that she was a bit nervous. Sure she was confident about her body and how she looked because of quidditch, but she never wore swimsuits around the school on a regular basis, not like some of the Slytherin girls. Would she look okay for Merle, since they were together she wanted to be able to look good for him and make him feel....well....something...when he saw her.
"So, you do want to see me in a swimsuit, how convenient." She replied back to him, kissing his ear and giggled, tightening her hold on him slightly.

M E R L E s h e p h e r d s o n And she's taking a drag "Yes, of course you should bring your camera." he said with a grin, nuzzling his nose to hers. She was silly! They had so many things to do! He had to take her hiking in the smokies, he had to take her to his favorite spot in the mountains, they had to visit Nashville and go to a few concerts, they had to go to museums and stuff and they even had a tribe festival going on that weekend. They probably wouldn't be able to get half of that in, but at least he might be able to take her to the festival. She liked bonfires, right? She liked music, drums and the like, right? She'd probably enjoy that. Besides, it was insight into his culture. Well, one of his cultures. Subculture, more like it. He was half Cherokee, and, as such, was a member of the tribe. Though his father was not, he was still invited to everything and as such, he should be able to bring his girlfriend, right? He was sure they wouldn't allow her to take pictures of anything there, but she could at least attend and have fun! And he wasn't sure what kind of swimsuit she had, but he'd likely have trouble keeping his hands off of her if it was the least bit revealing. "Of course I want to see you in a swimsuit, you're beautiful." he said, pressing another kiss to her neck, leading up to her jawline. He just couldn't resist. Necks and legs were his thing, it seemed. He was addicted, especially when he kissed her neck she made those amazing, wonderful, exciting sounds. He just couldn't take it, hardly! Pulling away from her slightly, he let his hands rest on the small of her back and he gazed down at her. He leaned forward, letting his forehead press against her own. His eyes shut as his nose brushed against hers. His eyes remained closed as he murmured in a quiet voice, now completely oblivious to anything that might be going on in the store. Right now, there was only Lucy. These were dangerous waters he was treading, but he was going to wade into them -- just a little. "There's nothing I want to keep from you, Lucy. I want to share everything with you. When you're ready." he murmured softly, nuzzling his nose to hers.

As Merle placed his lips on her neck and kissed her away into oblivion, Lucy tried not to moan. But damn it was hard for her to keep her mouth shut when he was hold her, kissing her, everything that he was doing was making her want to make some noise. Merle now had a completely, utter way with her that would make her melt to the floor and never regenerate again. So her hold on him tightened as his soft lips moved to her jawline and closer to her lips, teasing her slightly. So, he loved her neck it seemed, since his eyes would trail her every once in awhile and she could see in his eyes he wanted to map her neck with his lips.
And how she would let him.
"Well I can't wait to see you in trunk either." She said with a wink to him, a small smile on her lips. To feel something like that from a boy, who wanted nothing more than to love her completely was a thrill for Lucy. She would have to explain all of this to her parents, and worse, her older brother. But she didn't think about them both as she felt his forehead against hers, hearing him tell her that he didn't want to hide anything from her from that moment on. She didn't want that either, since they knew each other so well and could tell if the other was going through a rough patch. She nodded her head against his, seeing his eyes closed and thought of another idea. She moved her head away from his and her lip were dangerous close to his neck, breathing him in and smiling against his skin.
"And I want to show you the same amount of attention you show me, if you'd like." Lucy explained in a very soft tone, almost a whisper, then kissing him on the neck for a few long seconds. Now she knew why he liked necks, it was a wonderful feeling to kiss his neck. His neck was strong yet fragile, since she felt him shaking under her lips as she trailed her lips up slightly to his ear and then kissed hi jaw line slower than he would to her

M E R L E s h e p h e r d s o n Now they're going to bed As much effect he had on her, she had on him. He dreamed of the noises she made, the look in her eyes as they fluttered closed as she melted into his embrace. Even now, in the land of the waking, he could feel her arms tightening around him as she pressed against his frame. She was his, but he was also hers. It was a two-sided coin, it seemed. No matter how powerful she was, no matter how much power she held over him, she held it only because he was willing to completely surrender to her. And he was sure it was much the same for her with him. There was an immense amount of trust on the line whenever they touched, but he wouldn't dare forsake a bond like that. Every passing brush of his fingertips, every kiss, every loving gaze, all of it was done with utmost care and complete giving of oneself. There was nothing expected in return. They were all gifts from him. And nothing he did with her fell under pretenses. He wasn't expecting things to progress further than they were. Sure, he figured they'd get 'there' eventually, as things tended to naturally progress in such a way, but it was all her call. He wouldn't push her as far as he'd let her push him. Not that she'd have to push him much, if at all. "Who says I wear trunks? I might decide to wear a thong. Wouldn't that be embarrassing?" he teased, nuzzling his nose to hers. He then felt her head brush by his, her lips soon pressing to his neck. Instinctively, he tilted his head ever so slightly to give her more room. Goosebumps formed on the skin where she kissed, leading up to his earlobe. A visible, tangible shudder left him and his grip on her tightened, pulling her upward against his frame. "Always, my dear." he managed to murmur out, his fingertips lost in the hem of her shirt at her lower back. His breath hitched in his throat, heart thundering within his ribcage, he began to realize that perhaps all of this attention in the middle of the sweet shop wasn't a very good idea. After all, what if someone were to walk in on them like this? He pulled away reluctantly, pressing a tender kiss to her forehead. "I think we need to try and behave. " he said with a boyish grin and a wink. "There is always later tonight." he smirked.

He was instantly melting to her touch, with her lips on his neck and her hands in his air, it was like he was morphing into a lifeless being by her merely touching him. It was like they both were vulnerable if they touched each other. So it was safe to say that the both of them were so far deep into this relationship already that splitting them apart would be a tragedy. Sure it sounded silly, but they were so intact with one another.
It was good, so good to her.
She loved hold him in her arms, and he must of felt the same way. She giggled from his remark of wearing a thong. Now she knew that he would not look good in a thong at all, but in trunks that were low on his hips, that sounded more appealing to her. She smiled and shook her head, "Stick with trunks, I prefer trunks on you anyways." She replied back to him, giving him her genuine smile.
She was looking forward to her time with him that night in the common room. They both weren't very social, even when they were together. In fact they enjoyed each other's company by reading next to each other or drinking tea in silence. But now that they were together, they could do some other things together. Lucy was acting rather silly, thinking about that with Merle, but he did some things to her that made her think of those things. Oh her being under him, his lips on her neck, his fingers on her skin.
She needed to calm down.
"I'll be looking forward to it, just you and me and a nice roaring fire in front of us. Should I wear heels?" She asked in a coy smiled, wanting to see his reaction. Sure she was acting a bit odd, but at least it was with Merle who was leading her on in a way. So they both were each other's strengths and weaknesses.

M E R L E s h e p h e r d s o n And my stomach is sick He laughed lightly at her comment about trunks. Yeah, he wouldn't look too good wearing a thong, even if he did make an effort to shave his legs. Actually, that would probably actually make him look worse, as being hairless took away the comedic affect. If he shaved, people would think he was seriously wearing a thong and not just trying to be funny. Not that Merle was a very particular hairy man, but still. Besides, he had already tried shaving his legs once. He didn't understand how girls did it. And the pricklies a few days after were annoying. He decided that after that first shaving in his third year, never again. But then again, few people knew about his leg shaving escapade. For now he just stuck with shaving his face. "As you wish, m'lady." he said in a mocking knightly tone, settled on wearing his normal swim trunks -- if just for her. He wasn't going to mention most times he went completely naked while swimming. No one was ever around when he went swimming, so why not? Who was going to look at him? The dragons? It wasn't like they cared. He hadn't been making any plans for tonight, but now he was. He could see it now -- curled up on the big couch in the common room with a roaring fire, both laying down, with her curled up against his chest as they both read, a blanket to cover them from the cold air of the castle. He'd be able to feel her heart in her chest as they lay there, and the smell of her shampoo would be close enough for him to smell. What sort of shampoo did she use, anyway? It was intoxicating. Everything about her was intoxicating. He wasn't sure whether or not he had been slipped a love potion, or that he was just so far gone it felt like it. Lucy would never use a love potion on him, though. She didn't need it. Heels? A light blush came to his cheek and he nudged his nose to hers. "I don't think I would be able to properly control my actions if you showed up in this skirt and heels." he grinned, teasing of course. Sure, it would be hard not to let his hands or his eyes wander, but that was what she wanted, wasn't it? She wanted his desire, and she certainly already had it. Wearing heels and a skirt would only serve to fan the flame, which felt like it was already about to consume the poor boy whole. Besides, they couldn't do anything like that in public -- it would be rude. They'd have to retire to the dormitory. . . "I can't wait for this weekend. Hell, I can't wait for tonight. I hate being away from you. Silly, huh? " he smiled, fingertips weaving their way under her shirt to massage the small of her back.

"Oh you and your manners." She said to him in a grin and kiss him lightly on the lips. They would play around with each other with different accents just to brighten each other's day, something they both loved to do. Even if it was the saddest day, the most horrible day in Lucy's Life, somehow Merle made her feel so much better and full again. Something in his eyes to the way he talked to her, both of those factors were now intensified since they were now a couple. That was something new for Lucy to hear.
They were a couple.
A Couple. Merle and Lucy. Together romantically.
Oh Dang.
"Well, now that I know your weak-spot, I'm going to milk it for all it's worth." She said to him in a grin and placed both of her arms around his own waist. She liked holding him close, even though they were in public she was looking forward to being in the common room with him, all alone. Lucy could already picture it in her head, the two of them holding each other close and being in each other's atmosphere and personal bubble. They could be feeding each other her stash of candy, reading a book or two, or of Merle showing her pictures of his family back in America. NOw that trip she was going to take with him made her even more excited and more tense. She knew they liked her, his family that is. But would they really like her??
"And just to let you know, I like suspenders, and skinny ties." She said to him in a small smile, "Since you like me in heels and short skirts. And now that you know what I like, I should see you in those more often." She felt like a little school yeah all over again, talking to her crush and letting him know how she feels. But she's never done something like that before, so this was all new to her.

M E R L E s h e p h e r d s o n And it's all in my head He returned the kiss lightly, grinning brightly down at his lady. It still sounded strange to him, but in a good way. His lady. Lucy was his. Not in an oppressive way, but he had certainly made a claim over her. They were a couple! After all these years, the two of them had finally sealed the deal so to speak. People had assumed they were dating before, sure, but this time it was real. And how long had Mr. Shepherdson been harboring that crush on Miss Ferrier? Decently long, but he wasn't the type of person to realize these sorts of things. And now, after all these years, he was turned into a giant flesh-sack of hormones, hell-bent on remaining as close to Lucy as possible. She teased him, her arms at his own waist as his fingertips snaked under her shirt, brushing over the soft skin of her lower back. He loved the way her skin felt under his fingers, and the way her hair smelled, and the way she looked at him. It all made his heart race and his blood burn in his veins. He was always so excited with her, so nervous, in a way, in a good way. He couldn't wait to have her all alone again, away from the public eye. And probably not in the Common Room, either. Not that he minded being curled up on the couch with her and a blanket, but he wanted nothing more than to curl up in bed with her and hold her. Other things came to mind, but surely they'd get to that whenever they got to it. All that was on his mind now was his Lucy, and he wanted to say so many things that he couldn't really find the words for, either because he just didn't know how to say it, or because his breath was hitched in his throat because she had said something that made him blush! Which she did. Soon after, though, she mentioned suspenders and skinny ties. He grinned down at her, eyebrow quirked. "Suspenders? Really?" he asked, pressing his forehead to hers. He already wore skinny ties, all of his ties were that style anyway, but the suspenders he didn't really have a use for. He was a thin young man and his pants fit him well enough already! But, if he must, he would resolve to get some suspenders and wear them with his suits, whenever he wore them. For her. "I'll have to go buy some. Why suspenders?" he asked, nuzzling his nose to hers. He thought it was an odd thing to like, but if she liked it, well, he supposed he had no choice.

Lucy smiled, seeing how he was so curious about why she liked suspenders and skinny ties. Something about the sophistication and the formal attire of those two pieces of clothing melting together as one made her smile and make it a little more...arousing for her to see and touch. It was nice to see a boy in suspenders, not that it was nerdy or anything, but it was still a bit of a turn on for her. He has his turn ons with her, her legs and necks, and her skirts and heels, so why can't she have a few turn ons with him?
"I can't help but feel a little bit...excited when I see a pair of suspenders on a strapping young boy, along with a nice tie to grasp when I kiss him." She explained in a alluring tone to him, sneaking in a kiss on his lips and then smiled against his lips, "I can like a few things since you like me in heels, short skirts and a revealing top."
She looked over at the clock on the wall and saw she was about to close the shop for the night. That night was a weeknight and the owner wanted to close a bit earlier than usual, so the last thing the both of them needed was to be seen together in a unusual position when her owner comes to close the door.
"I'll meet you tonight in the common room, the owners going to come and close up soon, so I think you should leave. But we have tonight together to talk, and stay close." Lucy replied to him in a grin, smirking at the last part for thinking about what they were going to do together. She imagined it in her head already, some of it made her feel warm inside and others made her bit her lower lip. Sure she was a girl and kissing was the new exciting thing on her mind, other than reading her new book, but she was more interesting in kissing Merle in their own private time.

M E R L E s h e p h e r d s o n But she's touching his chest She had so much power over him. He melted into her touch as she spoke against his lips, her kisses immobilizing him completely. He stared affectionately into her eyes, a faint blush creeping up to his cheeks again as he returned the kiss. As her lips formed words, they brushed against his own with every moment. He was having trouble breathing again, and thinking about things other than every miniscule movement she made. Of which he was entirely too aware. "I'll have to get some, then. Wear them under my jackets." he teased, nuzzling his nose to her own again. He could practically taste her they were so close, standing there all alone in the candy shop. She could already grab his tie and pull him close for kisses, the idea she had planted in his mind already taking hold. She'd always have a leash for him, it seemed, and he'd be all too willing to follow. He was almost never seen without a tie! It could end up being a little too fun for her, maybe. Certainly a little too fun for poor Merle. . . She warned him of the owners coming back, and he turned to look toward the entrance of the shop. No one was there. He understood the need of brevity now, though, and turned to look at his lady. They would have all night together, and if she wanted, he wouldn't mind curling up in his bed with her. Completely innocently, of course, if the Common Room was too loud. The prospect of falling asleep with her tucked safely in his arms was a little too alluring, though, and what would people think? He wouldn't care. Not if she didn't. He pressed another kiss to her lips, a longing one that lasted a few moments before he hesitantly had to pull away. "You should pack up after work. We have a trip to go on. " he teased, nudging her playfully. "But I will meet you in the Common Room tonight. " he said. He obviously didn't want to leave her, as his hands were the last to leave her. "I um..." he started, looking to her and then his feet. He smiled shyly at her, moving away slowly. "Tonight. Yes." he then began to slowly, awkwardly back out of the shop. The poor boy was so awkward! He soon left, already his mind wandering to that night. And what was worse, was, as soon as that door closed behind him, he missed her immensely.
